Thanks SQ - we really want to, need to find time to talk it all through though!
First day of the electrical works seemed to all go to plan - and they're back today doing more. We both said last night how good it feels to be cracking on with stuff again! Does mean I need to move forward with jobs like finding a plasterer, though ready for the hallway work to be done as soon as Lee is finished!
Need to shop tonight as although I have the basics for meals this week I have hardly anything fresh in now. Need to remember that MrEH bought his milk when he popped out for his paper on Friday morning though, and I've got enough left from last week to not need any (good old skimmed milk - that stuff lasts forever!). Shopping list to be done at lunchtime I think, and will also want to shift the car closer to the office as well as then I can just walk to ThaT supermarkeT after my run this evening. Having said that, if the rain turns up as threatened before I finish work I'll defer the run until tomorrow evening I think - can't say I massively fancy freezing cold, soaking wet feet!
Got tipped off at the gym last week that it's cheaper to pay through Pay as U gym than to pay them directly so checked that and got a monthly pass (unlimited visits) for £2 less than it would cost me top visit the gym 5 x paying cash.£33 spent, but a good deal at this time of year in particular as it gives me more options when it's really cold, wet or icy - even if I just want to run I can go there and use the treadmill which realistically I'd not do if I were paying £7 to be there. Already decided that I'll aim for twice a week while I have the pass though and made my first trip there last night. :T
MrEH has rugby training this evening so plan is get home, sort dinner (sausage casserole - well, it'll be sausage & mushroom once I've been shopping!) then catch up with some TV while sorting out backups on the laptop/trying to sort out some more photos for processing. You Gov does take forever to get to cashout and the surveys are boring (usually) and few and far between. But I did get £50 off them just before Xmas so I'm going to keep going with them, sigh.
PA is my favourite as the surveys are fun but I'm quite impressed with how quickly I got to payout on One Poll. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

EH how splendid you were in my part of the world. You didn't by any chance go to The Beer festival did you ? All your food talk sounds awesome and very healthy. Plus what an active pair you both are . Going in the tipi sounds wonderful as well , go for it .
As for You Gov not going there again after being paid out. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
This is indeed part of the problem with YouGov - I too keep losing interest! Absolutely with you there RT - and Beanie, you try having no kids at all - that gets me screened out of a LOT of surveys on OnePoll!
HH I need to remember to log in to OnePoll daily in the same way I usually do with PA - that'd help!
Cumbria that was exactly where we went! And yes, I've already said that if I ever reach payout on YouGov that's me done with it!
FINALLY got a 25 point survey on Power Of Opinions so that one has now been requested to PayPal. Can't remember how long they take as a rule but it'll go straight to savings anyway. I'll carry on with that one as the surveys are quick enough to not be a problem.
Small surplus in my account this morning got split between my clothing account and my airshow savings account - should get paid tomorrow so will deal with money shuffling then. Also took the money to cover the gym pass across to my short term savings ready to pay to the card as I wanted that to come from this months money, not next. The joint account surplus is getting shifted to the holiday savings as we're light on that account at the moment due to the shorter than usual period of time between Hebrides trips. (We transferred a lump of surplus to long term savings middle of last year on the basis that we'd transfer it back when needed, but naturally we now don't want to do that!)
Day 2 of the electrical works also went smoothly - Lee-The-Sparky called this morning to say that the front room does ideally need re-wiring though so he's quoting the extra for that. Makes sense to have it done now rather than after the hallway is done as it'll mean everything can be chased into the walls. Also means LOADS of dust though so bleurgh to that! He's also chasing up the supply of the new heater this morning - half hoping he might be able to do the next phase of works on Friday as I'll be about during the day anyway then. (Although not entirely certain I really want to be - haha!)
Shopped last night as planned - all to list and no deviations or temptations - go me! A shade under £15 which is fine. Need to get a meal plan and list sorted for next week now! Doing either Bolognese or chilli tonight and that should make extra for my lunch either Friday or Saturday. :T
Ran last night as planned (thank goodness the snow didn't start until later!) 2.75miles done, and going to the gym tonight as we're not travelling home together tomorrow so I won't want to liknger about in London after work to go then - I'll switch rest days about though so tomorrow will be walking exercise only, plus stretching in the evening. :A :rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

My part of the world tooI didn't go to the beer festival though :rotfl:

Hee hee WF - it doesn't strike me as your sort of thing! :rotfl:
Looks like we're going to be having the two bedrooms and the front room totally rewired. Oh well, needs sorting, and definitely makes sense to get it done ahead of the hallway being sorted so....but argh the mess!Hopefully going to be able to crack on with it pretty soon, before I chicken out, anyway! :rotfl:
Three YouGov surveys this morning - 2 x 50 points and 1 x 10 points, so crept up a little further. Nothing on Prolific yet today and probably won't cash out currently as only just above £10. 30p on OnePoll so now at £12.90 on there.
Kicking myself as meant to park the car somewhere different this morning - we car-shared coming in but MrEH is out this evening so I'll be solo ion the way home so planned to park nearer to the office - only remembered when we were half way from the car to my office though - doh! I'll go and shift it at lunch I think and see if I can put it in my preferred spot then. Need to try and cram extra walking in today as well as my exercise today will be walking only - maybe a short core workout at home this evening but I'll see about that when I get home. Still want to get to my 10k steps though! :rotfl:
Need a list/plan for tomorrow I think - hoping to swim in the morning but will have to see how things go on that. Also want to get my meal plan and shopping list done this evening then I can shop on the way home from the pool. We're forecast a bit of snow overnight tonight apparently but it's unlikely to be enough to cause real issues. (hopefully) I am meant to be picking MrEH up from the tube at somewhere between 10 - 11pm though so hoping it's not come down too much by then.
Got an airshow ticket to get booked today before the special offer on early booking ends - it's a good saving to be had so want to not forget to do that. Can't think of anything else spendy though....fingers crossed!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
