Managed NSD 17 yesterday
Payday today so the start of a new month with a new target. Only a 3.5 week month as early payday before Christmas - I reckon a target of 12House fund: ~£5000 / £10,000_£1000 emergency fund #208 - £151.74/ 1000 _

Not a NSD today as it is payday, and lots of shopping was purchased, plus a few gifts for that C festival. Still, 16 NSDs is not bad.One life - your life - live it!0

Okay,we have two days left in the month,so,in theory:
Munchin
squanderscouse
andbeanie could still make it.;)
Of course, there might be some of you who are holding out on me,and who have not yet declared their real nsd totals....mmmm,yes,but I am ready for you.Don't be shy now.
As to me,no idea where I am.
Friday was a big spend day because I bought a few cashmere jumpers that had 20% off. That much I remember.....:(
Great investment though....0 -
So,the front page is up to date and looking good.
I've decided just to have the same prizes every month and am going to keep the Winnie the Pooh theme.I don't want to make more work for me by changing them every month.
I'm having a bit of bother finding 'freestanding' gifs though, you know, without a background, preferably animated ones. Can anyone help me?
Anyway,I'd better rush off and set up December's thread before there's a mutiny. Can it be done without mentioning the c word though????0 -

Marmite Some time ago we had a December thread where we all went on a tropical island holiday and there were severe penalties for anyone mentioning the C word. I seem to remember some ingenious ways our devious NSD gang found to get round that, words like Brussels Sproutfest, Santanalia, Tinselday etc were used.....
However.....(breaking the rules of grammar which say you should never start sentences with "however" or "so", Bad Nargle!).....I think we should be free to mention the C word but not until December 1st. Those who mention it today or tomorrow....A vat of last year's festering Brussels Sprout curry awaits you. You have been warned. One life - your life - live it!0 -
