Good Morning :hello:
Well, we have limped (financially-wise) to the end of the month. However, I despise 'wishing away' my life, so it IS only financially-wise. Otherwise July has been interesting and delightful and we've even managed to make some memoriesAnd shoe-horn some smidgens of cake
Tea last night was meditteranean pasta. We HAVE eaten too much pasta this monthBut it used up bits and pieces that I had - including a 'valoo' mozarella ball from mrT. So........
Tea this evening will definitely be a 'cobble'. I may well have to buy 'something' to make it work. Either a tin of tomatoes or some form of GREEN VEG! :rotfl:
I did the money shuffle yesterday, so at least bills are paid moving forward into August. You know how much relief I get from just achieving that each month
However, I am ill-shod and my slippers are just about done and I'm sure my shoes have sprung a leak......... *sigh* Ho hum
Anyhoo, onwards and upwards! Let's see what the day has instore

YES! Because I do have cornflour, turmeric and sugar :j:rotfl:
Oh, and thinking about being ill-shod in the 21st century, do not enquire after the state of my socks..........I walk so much, I am very hard-wearing on them. Can't afford the 'ultra-professional' walking socks and rarely find 'will do' in my budget range. The last lot were actually 'C0$tc0' (?) ones - 40% merino wool walkers, £4 for 3 pairs or £5 for 4 - can't recall now. Wish I'd bought the blessed stock up from the discount warehouse when I spotted them

Mmm, cake
I was thinking about socks too last night Greying. I spend most of the winter in two pairs, and all my 'outer' socks are wearing through now. Mind you, most of them are cheap rubbishThe only ones that have lasted have been a pair I knitted myself! But the other pair I knitted myself I finally consigned to the dustbin last week having darned them SO many times they were more darn than sock - I think from memory I didn't use sock wool and they just weren't very hard wearing...
Hey ho. Another pair on the needles but given that it takes me an average of around a year to get on with finishing each one, I may need to make some purchases in the meantime:rotfl:
