An empty laundry basket always makes me feel accomplished!
I'm being nosy but what does your family usually eat for breakfast and lunch. I find lunch one of the hardest meals, especially when it's hot! Breakfast I eat practically the same thing every day, porridge - might make overnight oats if I'm feeling fancy :)

Smurphington - I have toast for breakfast (never been one to eat huge amounts in the morning :() BG and DH are confirmed porridge eaters (bleurk! _pale_) and have toast to follow. Lunch is normally sandwiches all round. Sometimes in winter I may have a baked potato with a smidge of left over bolognese, or chilli if there is some - but sarnies have become the default with a piece of fruit, or occasionally cake (only if some made - not that often). If it's really cold in winter, I sometimes like a cuppa soup. So we're not rigid in our choices, but lunches follow a similar theme. DH is happy to have the same thing day in, day out......... :(

Ha ha! you'd have a willing accomplice in the form of BG for that Silver Queen. They love a bit of home-made 'cakey' :D But I try to be sensible and make cake, like chocolate, a definite 'treat'. I may lose the battle as they get older, but hopefully we can at least try to start off on the right foot :DBG and DH would have cake every day, and I would have crisps if there was no consideration of health or waistline to add to the equation :D
