Just tidied music/DVD/book room a large box of books are ready to go down the CS, the books I want to read that won't fit on the bookcases have been stacked neatly at my the side of the bed. Put some DVDs and books in our room for Dh to decide if they are CS or keepers.
Bagged up some more books for my mum.

Afternoon all. Just finished the paid stuff during which I did some shredding and clearing of hotspots, so think that covers my flying today.

Found out I'm being demoted two levels in a change around at the paid stuff, same pay though. Will wait to see what it all means in reality. Not too bothered though, some people (as we know) have real problems to deal with at the moment.

I'm just having a cuppa and some fruit (go healthy me, have lost almost a stone now!) and will then feed the dogs.

Have a great evening everyone, I will catch up with your doings tomorrow.

    Afternoon all

I'm in this week and thanks Valli for last week and Natty for this week.

Pleased your sister's recuperating and hope the pain soon eases Valli and well done finding your voucher.

Sorry to hear about the phone incident MrsMP and pleased he's home safe

Been a busy and exciting weekend. We collected our new-to-us car and had tea out to celebrate. Have also bought new phones, as others were slowly going (only had them four years) and DH bought a new TV (again, on way out but that's lasted ten years) :rotfl: So rest of weekend was taken up with usual shopping, cooking and trying to work out all the new technology.

Today I've done the dailies and cleaned the kitchen. Then, because I was fed-up with trying to find something in the kitchen cupboard I did the cupboard out. Long story short - I've done all the cupboards out. Go me !!

Apart from cooking DH's dinner-to-take, that's the day gone. Now going to make myself a salad and jacket spudalata and settle down to watch some tv.

I am so pleased Valli's sis has come through her op - sending pain-free vibes.

Bit of a rubbish day here; I feel like I may be getting a cold, and have had very little energy. But I made us nut loaf (HM but from the freezer) with sweet'n'sour rice for dins, heavy on the ginger in the sauce, to try and fight off any impending colds.

We need to do the lounge tomorrow; I have the lady from the dog care company coming Wednesday to do a home-check. *gulp*. I've told her Jack Spaniel will be here (she knows all the ins and outs of the old franchise closing and me being left to do the final bookings freelance) so I really, really hope this goes well.

  • Hi all, just checking in, very tired. I tackled the kitchen first thing this morning because it really needed it and managed to spend an hour blitzing it before work. Cycled to work and back, couple of hours on job no. 2, dog walk, washing out on line, then off line and on airer.

Oh and I waited 2.5 hours for someone to collect something they bought on ebay. They did have my phone number and could have let me know there was a problem but didnt. Sigh.

Just off to put a few bits of clean washing away then I am done for today.

Valli I was given some M&S vouchers and promised myself that I would go and get properly measured for some new bra's. All I need now is the time to actually go and do it!!
  • Evening all,

Well not much more done since earlier, hoovered half the house, mopped the kitchen floor, got the present I needed, went riding , and we went to the ironmonger to get some catches for the doors downstairs. I then started painting but OH then told me our friend was coming for tea, so I had to stop painting and cook. (better than last time he came, when OH told me he was coming about one minute before he arrived).
So now, I am going for a run in a moment, cause Monday is Runday!
Bossy, I'm glad you had a good time.
LW if I don't "see" you before, good luck for Wednesday x
