Unless you send your buyer pound notes it isn't a good idea to chase feedback. Ebay does this for you and that can cause enough people to be teasy.0

In my experience only around half of buyers bother to leave feedback.0

Many buyers do not bother to leave feedback. I would not worry too much about it. Having no feedback is better than having unfair bad feedback.0

I'm really peeved off at the moment with someone asking me for feedback for something you clearly don't use the minute you open your mail. Being a new seller they are saying it's my fault now that their money isn't released, so I'm doubly peeved off.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. I always leave feedback, I have had a seller not leave feedback and I bought a number of items from them
I would be p*ssed off at getting a note about leaving the seller feedback. Now I have had a few with a thank you for your feedback on a invoice included with the item.0 -
I haven't sold much, but of what I have sold, only about 1/3 of buyers leave feedback.
I always leave FB for buyers if they pay quickly, but never bother chasing feedback up for those that do not leave it. Life is too short.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Occasionally when I am bored and just generally browsing ebay I do look at buyer feedback- and have been surprised to see quite a high percentage of buyers with hundreds of feedback who have never ever left any feedback for a seller in return. I suspect it is going the same way as Amazon where buyer feedback has disappeared.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Never ever chase buyers for feedback on ebay, is the golden rule. You're just increasing the chances of receiving an annoyed neutral or negative.
About 38% of my buyers leave me feedback, it used to be nearer 60% at one time.0
