Charge Notice issued for stopping at Humberside Airport

Hi,
I'm new to this but was wondering if anyone could help me out. I stopped my car for less than a minute in a no stopping zone at Humberside Airport. I didn't see any signs telling me I couldn't stop there and I wasn't parking. Vehicle Control Services have sent me a Charge Notice to which I have just appealed. I appealed on the same grounds as some of the other posts I have read here but am concerned that they may reject the appeal and not give me the chance to escalate it. Should I get the chance to appeal further I was hoping someone would be able to advise me as to how to make it as watertight as possible. It doesn't seem right that I can be expected to have entered into a parking contract when I stopped for less than a minute to pick up a waiting passenger so cannot reasonably have blocked anyone's path etc.
Thanks

if you escalate it , it will only be refused by the IPC , the site comes under bylaw land and in the last god knows how many years they have not proceeded with a court claim at that site of john lennon , they know when it comes out about bylaws in court , their cash cow has gone
take care not to name yourself , just say "the driver" , expect lots of junk begging letters , some in red ink.
INLY if you get a court claim or an official letter telling you they ARE (not may) take you to court , come back to this threadSave a Rachael

You do not yet understand how murky the world of parking on private land really is .... there are no real rules , it is not regulated , there is no real ombudsman / regulator to appeal to .....
The IPC have the worst appeals service in the know galaxy ....... the chances of winning are small.
Be under no illusion .... the newbie thread recommends no appeal too the court of skippy = IAS because you will not win .... well it can depend on the daily IAS lottery
80%+ loose the case / appeal appears to have no bearing on the decisions given
the advice to ignore at this point is so to not add credence to the mockery of injustice that is the IPC / IAS
so please rad though some / all theses threads to help you make up your mind
The scammers that infest some of the smaller airports are in cahoots with said airports as its is a (allegedly) mutual financial arrangement ....
Go back several years and you would have won this at a POPLA appeal ..... however in the world of PPC's they created another trade body (the IPC) that have a (again allegedly) kangaroo court  (the IAS) The IAS seem to treat appeals as a lottery 80%+ loose irrespective of the evidence.......
you therefore can, after reading the below, do the first appeal (a new template appeal for the IPC is available) ,and then ignore ....
