Remainers are starting to sound like one of these cults that stand around on hilltops waiting for the end of the world. Then, when it doesn't happen they shrug and say 'It's coming, we just got the timing wrong.'
No matter what you say, or what the evidence, or what happens, it's simply impossible to reason with such people.

    Not at all, Barley.
But to verify whether any forecast or prediction regarding brexit will prove to be correct or not, don't you agree it would be wise to wait until....ehm...brexit actually happens?
It's not rocket science. Come on.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Most people who voted remain probably have the same attitude as me, a bit disappointed the vote didn't go the other way, but have long since moved on.

Now that's not fair. You can't go around using facts and logic, it confuses the poor things.

    Indeed, it would be wise.

But if, as you are well aware, the rest of us are talking about the VOTE in the referendum (as we always had been, several links to discussions I can provide to prove this if you require?), then it would be wise not to keep confusing matters...would it not?

Theres a whole discussion thread with hundreds of posts in it started before the referendum entitled "if we vote for brexit, what happens". The clue is right there in the title. It's not entitled "what happens when we initiate brexit". The reason no one was discussing that was because no one has a clue regarding the terms we will have and everyone understood there would be negotitations to be had.

You can pretend otherwise all you like - but the only people you are fooling is yourselves, which would seem a little pointless if you asked me!

maybe we can expect a silence from you until brexit actually happens?

    Oh look, pigs with wings!

More likely than any silence from those who insist upon obfuscation and confusion as a source of debate.

Your posts may indeed generally be so described; I was not suggesting otherwise.

My point was that the same was .... dubious, at best ... in the post by mayo to which you were referring
