many thanks0 -
Does anyone have any info on the October discounts that Howden's will be offering on kitchens?0

afternoon - we had a howdens bloke out to design our kitchen last week.
He said that the sale was on from 4 - 31 Oct. Need to take delivery before 31-Oct.
He said units are 50 - 75% off. Applicances have discount, but not as much.
Speaking to our Kitchen Fitter - he says the best 'deals' are on 1st week of Oct.0 -
Hiya
Can defo confirm that Howdens do some sort of offer in October.
We have had a quote recently-no mention of getting it cheaper in October so thought id ring and ask. Got told they do have sales but it tends to be branch specific as to what is on sale....they then said that if i purchased my kitchen in october they would "see what they could do with the price".
They emailed me today to say the prices for the units would remain the same as they were already discounted and that they would give me my worksurfaces for free and that would be it. Wonder if i change my mind and request granite worksurfaces whether they would be free?0 -
Meggles is correct about the sales. Depending on how much trade they get from the builder/fitter, they usually get 70% off list price anyway - but in October they will do a bit more of a discount and special offers. I was in ther last week and that's what they told me.0

I will be ordering from them shortly. Approx how much % would be saved if I ordered in the sale? Say for example my builder gets the units at 70% off normally, how much extra would be off in the sales? Thanks0

Maybe another 10% or maybe just a better price on worktops or sinks etc. Also, as mentioned above, some builders/fitters do not pass the full discount on to their customers, effectively putting a mark-up on the materials to increase their profits.0

I was told at my local Howdens about a month ago that there would be a 'sale' in October. They said there wouldn't be any reduction in prices but I'd get a free appliance with my kitchen, according to how much I spent.
So, presumably, the better the discount your tradesman gets the lower the value of the appliance you are entitled to - even though the full discount may not be passed on to you?
