Do Howdens do half-price kitchens in october?

I had a price from them recently, and was told that it would be cheaper in October. This was for Glendevon Cream.

i built a kitchen last year
i went to howdens (stafford)looking for prices
(although you do have to have an account)
someone was going to get it for me
they were very helpful and they advised me to wait until october as they had a sale on every year.

eventually did go somewhere else because they could not design their cabinets to what we wanted.
(2 magic corners were required)
but the prices were very good
i was going for the Glendevon Cream.

I know someone who works in Howdens and they have done a plan for my sisters kitchen, in preparation for the oct sale.

If I look at my quote, a lot of the stuff has been discounted more than 50% already. EG, 600 HL Base price £542.99. Discounted 70%. Price I pay £191.40 (incl VAT). Is that initial price really inflated to make it look like I've got a good deal? 70% off to me seems like I've got a good deal without 50% sale???

I had a letter this morning about a bedroom design, saying they could offer me a further discount in the sale - starts 24/9 I think.

They always have a sale on in oct, I know that for a fact!
But to buy from howdens you must be trade as they only have a trade licence also ive exprienced that trade like their clients to buy from howdens as they get a trade discount subject to them, which they dont always pass on to their client!!

Yes they are definitely having a sale - were told ourselves last week as we're probably getting a kitchen with them. The designer was with us this week, and as a family member is doing the work, we'll be getting the saving.

So we're eagerly awaiting to find out what the sale will be in % terms!

70% off for definate. Starts 1/10/2007 for 4days and you should be trade.
