Morning all,
I've got a sneaky day off the paid stuff today, and it's a good job because I've loads to do. Yesterday i did well considering I was at work all day. Got most of the kitchen list done and did the daily stuff.
So here is what I'm doing today, sorry it's a long one!
Hugs to all x

Extra school cardigans for girls
Try and book holiday for half term
Monday Monday - KITCHEN and DINER
Extras
check the fridge for what needs using or throwing
T'riffic Tuesday
Blissful Boudoir
Level One
Open the window
Strip the bed
take all washing/floordrobe from room

Level 2
Remake your freshly-aired bed

Extras
Buy those hallowe'en sweets now before the shops run out. Do not eat all the love hearts and swizzels and parma violets. (or is that just me?)
Check your light bulbs - I don't know about you but I find, when they are on more, they all commit hari-kiri. Do you have spares?
HHI - if you haven't any I will send mine
If I get all this done then I'm going to try and get the final layer of varnish on the hall floor downstairs.
Catch you all later x0 -
Morning!
Well I have cleaned my bedroom, although I didn't do the Windows - perhaps I'll go do that.
I've also dealt with my VM frog, guy on phone was really helpful actually - I didn't want to move really, but happily they have offered me a bit of a deal, saving over £20 a month while downgrading tv channels we don't watch and upgrading my bb speed. He's also resetting as I told him my speed test wasn't great. I could probably get it a bit cheaper but this way I keep my landline and recording box and no inconvenience of switching. That'll do for me...
Right, I'll go wash Windows and turn the hub off like he suggested :TBossymoo

Glad you got sorted re the internet/tv/phone stuff bossy
I've glossed today's quota so brush is in turps and I'm having a coffee. I did put the kettle on when I came down to sign for a parcel for the neighbour's but that was as far as I got, then need to get changed out of my painting clothes before work.
Will catch up with the flying lists this afty.SPC~12 ot 124

Ooh I have washed Windows then I thought I'd sort the spare room. Go me! To be fair, it's not a doom room, but I needed to put bedding away and generally tidy. I've even vacced the kids bookshelves, lol. Looks nice and inviting in there again.
I have a big wicker basket that is surplus to requirements so I might list that on freebay.
Just warming some of yesterday's soup and testing bb speed - 3x faster than last night...
Think I'll do a bit of planning this aft - sort my money file and organise half term...
Feeling heaps better than yesterday, but will keep taking the parrots today I think :T
ETA I love how my apple device keeps capitalising Windows lolBossymoo

I use old freezer drawers for starting off seeds. If you line them with a large piece of bubble wrap, fill with compost, you can fold the wrap over to protect them (I use them for things like sweet peas or french beans). Then when it is time to plant them out, you lift out the whole bubble wrap and put it on the ground, the compost and little plants will fall apart and separate easily. Beats taking each one out of a module or small pot.
I think I'm still on yesterday's list as well as today's:
- been to zumba
- filled bird feeders
- deadheaded pots and basket plants
- started writing another report
- emptied weekend bag and put everything away
- kitchen passable (that's about all I can say)
- Mr N did all the ironing (he usually does, thankfully)
Nothing to cook for this eve as I made a large lasagne yesterday. I need to get my head down and finish this report as it is flower club this eve.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Apparently not as one mousetrap was situated almost right next to one:eek: Greedy little rodent was more tempted by the coffee cream DH had loaded the snap trap with. Savage creature.... I mean, who actually likes coffee creams?I'm getting man-flu I think. I'm all headachey and sinusy. Kiddies made me a "hospital bed" in the conservatory lol. They told me jokes and played charades to make me better :A I think it's starting to work, lol. Along with some cold n flu caps and a mug of hm soup.
I've not got much on tomorrow .
Mr LW made the mistake of nodding off at the pc again. He has since dusted the bedroom and the lounge.
We've also, between us, tackled a wee froggy in the hall - the lights were playing up, sometimes coming on when the switch was pressed, other times not; it transpired a wire had come loose in the light switch, so that's now been sorted (needed me there to hold a torch, as Mr LW very sensibly took the fuse out of the lighting circuit before taking the switch off the wall). If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
'This afternoon I will mostly be having a repeat of this morning but this time I will use the GLOSS paint I meant to instead of undercoating it all. It did not need undercoating as it had had a light sand down to key it but obviously my subconscious wanted to make a really good job of it.
Shleps off to put painting clothes back on....SPC~12 ot 124

Just updating listy, done loads. This is all that's left :
Walk/run dog
Mow lawn if ground dry enough
Check your light bulbs - I don't know about you but I find, when they are on more, they all commit hari-kiri. Do you have spares?
Final layer of varnish on the hall floor downstairs.0 -
Oh dear Mrs MP xx
Haha LW you (and many others I suspect) will be pleased to hear I have plenty of clothes on today
Been a productive day today. DS has now got over 100 stamps so he'll get a certificate presumably this week. Might even have to go to another assembly. Feels very good that I can attend these things now #notmissingthepaidstuffatall
