Oh Dizzy its going to be amazing for you to actually move back in to your home again. Pleased things are moving forward.

2 x Paid stuff, dog walked, chicken pie made, kitchen units cleaned. Then I had to decide whether to deal with the fluffy/hairy floors or clean some windows. The windows won in the end, one was really bad for some reason. Oh and I have been to my gym class tonight.

Bit of clean washing to put away, will go and do that in a minute then bed.

Spent the evening bamboozling my brain trying to work out how to reduce my tv / phone / broadband costs.

Currently with VM and it's going up (again). To be honest, I'd happily ditch the tv package as we hardly watch it, other than free view channels and the firestick. I hardly use the phone too - I have a decent mobile package and use that for pretty much everything.

Could do with just getting a good speed of reliable broadband and buying another firestick for the other tv. Kids mostly watch in the den and that's not even linked to an aerial...

Will call VM and see what they can do (or not). For now, I need to switch off as my eyes are going square, lol.

Not flying, but it is money saving :D

    Hello all!

I've had a surprisingly productive day here despite having both little ds1 and ds2 around. Ds1 who is two years old refused all clothing and since we had a busy weekend and no major requirements today, I opted for a stay at home day. He also found a blue microfibre cloth (I use these for the bathrooms and white ones for the kitchen to keep them separate) and asked if we could do some cleaning upstairs  Couldn't say no to that! :D

However his eating is still somewhat messy and grated cheese with pasta for lunch was a bit of a mistake- floor required a second sweep after that!

    So today:
All Monday's list including most of level 3
    Wm x3, dw x2, 2 bathrooms cleaned
Sorted a box of stuff for charity shop and got rid of old freezer which had been taking up space in the kitchen and serving as a dumping ground on top.

    Sleep well :j

    Evening everyone

Hope you soon feeling better Bossy - sending some gws vibes. BTW we are with Talk a lot for bb and phone. I pay £191 a year for phone (must have but don't use) and £3.75 a month for bb, so works out at just under £20 a month.

I am with the double E people for my mobile, still on an old 'contract' so only pay £11.50 +vat each month. Being I don't watch much TV, I find enough on freeview, i-player, youtube and the radio, so don't pay for a TV package. Don't know if that helps :o

I have dusted all through, top to bottom.
Made a big pot of mince for DHs' dinners
Made a pot of lo beef stew, mixed beans and tomato soup for my lunches - very yummy with added garlic, chilli and cumin.
    Did my Spanish lessons
Dead-headed and watered the flowers on the balcony.
Sorted the recycling stuff and put in bags to go.
Started the monthly accounts - will finish t/m.

Monday Monday - KITCHEN and DINER
    Sweep/mop/vacuum the floor

T'riffic Tuesday (sans music to make it easier to copy and I can only think of Ruby Tuesday and I've used that before...)
    Blissful Boudoir
    Open the window
    Strip the bed
    take all washing/floordrobe from room
    Remove, and bin, any rubbish
    Remake your freshly-aired bed
    Vacuum

HHI - if you haven't any I will send mine
    ;)

Hugs, stick and spoons for all needing some
Hope you have a super Tuesday

    Morning all

Thanks to Valli for this week's lists and Natty for last week's.

I have only done odd bits of proper flying, but various emails have been sent and phonecalls made, and there is now a big white space in the middle of my "information central" pad :D

TBH most of my time is being taken up with studying. The first unit is so basic to everything that follows that I really must get the information drummed into my head. It's early days, but so far I think it's going OK and I am retaining some of it.

I bought bulbs and pansies on Sunday so must plant them out this week. But not before Thursday - today is SW and college, tomorrow I am babysitting DGS3+4 all day.

The washing and ironing are all up to date.
The house is tidy and downstairs is reasonably clean. When my study is a bit less cluttered I will have to dust in there.

I have kept the shelves and drawers from my old FF but they don't fit in the new one - do you think it's worth putting them on eeByGum or Freecycle?
Also have a nearly new baby's car seat to sell, now that DGS4 has grown out of it  Any advice on best place to advertise?

I hope that raphael and other poorlies are feeling better today and the Dizzy has scared the hornets  and mice away (FWIW I haven't had a coffee cream for years but they were my favourites and I always used to pick them out of the Magic box first :rotfl:)

    Any news from Donna?

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all, and a special  to CY x

    Morning all.

About to start the paid stuff early as I need to take time out today to get Poppet to the vet for her last injections. DH will sort out LittleyDog's grooming.

So no flying here today, but when it resumes I need to clean the insides of the windows.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Iona I know someone who made a fortune selling fridge and freezer shelves and drawers on eBay. I really couldn't understand why or how but she said people were getting into bidding wars over them.

    Morning all
Thinking of Donna and hope things ae ok and niece is safe and home.

Hope all are as well as can be. Hugs, good wishes, posi/coping vibes sticks spoons and get well soon wishes to all who need sone of any of them.

This morning plan is inside of spare oom door and landing side of music room door with relevant frames and adjoining skirting. I donot live in a mansion 'music room' is the title jokingly given to the spare room that houses the drum kit, stereo, and ds1s various guitars. On my to do list is stitching a suitable sign for the door, along with a Narnia style 'spare oom' one for the room currently full of stuff.
did some knitting and watched a borrowed DVD last night.

Better get on I suppose, have a good morning all.
