I'm just sitting down, Mrs MP, sorry
Yuck dizzy are those plug-in vermin repeller thingies any good?
Get well soon raphael xx
Been a busy bee here, kitchen all done, and vacced through hall, LR and DR. Sorted bins, recycling to go this week. Took some tat back upstairs and brought some down - DD wore tights yesterday but they are miles too short so measured against all the others and gathered a load to fling. She also gave up some "babyish" toys and I collected a few bits of carp from DS too.
He went to school with his arm in his jacket this morning - no sling :T after trying on 4 coats / hoodies we found one with just wide enough sleeves, lol. Sling is in his book bag just in case.
Also did an hours reading for my course, after popping out this morning. Bought damp traps, but they are not my usual ones and I think I've set them up wrong
Another chazza bag was collected this morning, full of our unwanted hats and mitts. Can't believe I nearly filled it just with thoseDay to day ones are in a neat little basket on the shoe rack, and I've kept a bag of ski type gloves and thermal bits in my wardrobe for severe weather.
Need to have a look at kids coats again, was given another 2 this weekend, although were also given some little girl swimmies - which she was in need of really. Although possibly not 5 of them!!!
Oh, I bought DS an advent calendar today. I'm going to get DD either a make-up or jewellery one - she loved mine last year - and I spotted a swizzles matlow one for DS that looks a bit nicer than the 99p yucky chocolate ones.
Anyhoo, I'm just having a hh chill before I head off to schoolBossymoo

I'm on "essentials only" this week; I have the two Spaniels here til Saturday, and they have four walks per day, which is tiring (they're lovely, so I don't mind) and my joints are less than brilliant right now.
So I should probably shut me clack and just lurk this week.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I don't get round to the wrapping in the end LW once I'd painted the 'spare oom' doorframe it rendered the attic out of bounds so you can put the kipper down for now. But please don't feel you have to lurk, we all love our cheerleaders supporting us on from the side when health issues or RL doesn't allow them to fly.
Have just pulled everything out of the understairs cupboard as ds2 needed his NI number to fill in the voting form that's come for him.
While there I sorted some wool out for something festive (sorry again LW) I need to knit about 30 things so better make a start sometime soon. I've got 2 or 3 classes to craft for so need to get my arris in gear and organise something. (Runs and ducks to avoid LWs flying kippers that I feel sure are now hurtling in my direction)
Right need another coffee now then I will fininsh the kitchen off.SPC~12 ot 124

Ooh, get me, another half hour with my feet up (actually waiting in the van with my thermos of Earl Grey) while Small is at Karate...Yuck dizzy are those plug-in vermin repeller thingies any good?
Apparently not as one mousetrap was situated almost right next to one:eek: Greedy little rodent was more tempted by the coffee cream DH had loaded the snap trap with. Savage creature.... I mean, who actually likes coffee creams?0 -

Hi there. Im in - just off list. I now have an extra 2 hrs a day to fill so this house WILL sparkle. Thanks for all the good wishes. It's hard, and creeps up at the oddest times. I refuse to become a hermit as the weather up here is gorgeous for a change, but its hard being stopped by every second person.
Been busy today trying to work out what I am going to ask for when my boss gets back off holiday. The temp work in Ayr is going to become permanent so I've been trying to work out the best way of structuring it - self employed or employed, how many days a week (I can now offer more which is a positive but makes me feel guilty)
Right. Need to order our new back door (sans Ozzie hole - or burglar door!)Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Oops dizzy set me a trap now, I love coffee creams
I'm getting man-flu I think. I'm all headachey and sinusy. Kiddies made me a "hospital bed" in the conservatory lol. They told me jokes and played charades to make me better :A I think it's starting to work, lol. Along with some cold n flu caps and a mug of hm soup.
I've not got much on tomorrow - DD has an assembly so I'll go to that but it's at the end of the school day, so I might have a morning snooze tomorrow if I still feel meh.Bossymoo

Evening all. You've all been so busy.
Day didn't go as planned for me. Did a couple of hours of paid stuff, had to go lie down for an hour with a terrible headache, then did some more paid stuff but still feeling a bit fragile now.
Did walk LittleyDog and cut the back grass. Just now cooking tea and will then just chill for the evening. Think it will be an early night.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
