Yikes, first time i've looked at the thread for this week and we're on page five alraedy! I must keep up!

Been helping out at children's school this morning so not done anything yet. Going to do all the cleaning between 2 and 3 then I have a doctors appointment for DS to see if this cough has gone to his chest as it's not shifting. So, i'll come back on when i've done all my flying.

    Have a good week xx

I've run a clean cycle on the washing machine. What can I use to do the same on the dishwasher?

I've got 2 tbsp's white vinegar in mine and am assuming the rinse aid and salt will do the rest.. I did scrub round the doorseal and edges with stardrops before putting it on.. you could fling dish cloths in the clean cycle as well.. mine has about 25 minutes left.. the only time I ever use the hot cycle is once a month to clean it out.. the rest of the time it is on the 30 minutes economy wash.

Oooh hubby just brought me some flowers on his lunch hour so I need to get those in a vase. Probably related to his guilty conscience after accusing me of seeing someoen else after DS1 sent me a text last week saying I had to tell his college tutor he was at work until 5:30pm.. because DS1 doesn't work hubby assumed it was fromanother man.. even though I had a text from DS1 1 minute earlier AND it was his number!!! Honestly.. he is SUCH a pill-hawk!!

    Hi all

Bit of a strange day for me. DD1 first full day of infant school and then DD2 first session at preschool this afternoon. I felt naked walking home alone:rotfl: , so used to having a buggy or little one with me.

Not really done the list today but I have:-

    S & S Lounge
    S & S Kitchen
Swept hall, bathroom & kitchen floors (to be mopped)
Popped to shops for couple of bits
    Hoovered right through
    Aired and made beds
    Cleaned doors in hall
Phoned Mum 3 times (at 17p a min  )
Made Mud pie (biscuit fridge cake)
    Made filling for cornish pasties
    Made pastry for above
Cooked about off (done mini ones for lunch boxes)
    Read the thread

Got 3/4 of hour till I need to leave and pick littles up, looks like it is gonna throw it down too:mad: . Pasties out of oven and smell nice so will have to sample in a min:D .

Right half hour challenge for me

    Re S & S kitchen
Mop all those floors (only tiny rooms:rolleyes: )
    Sort ironing pile for tonight
Put stuff in BM for pizza dough
    S & S bathroom

Right best crack on, maybe a cuppa whilst doing the kitchen:D , gotta have something to wash the pastie down with:p

Afternoon folks. Having a brill day so far and am feeling really pleased as I've crossed off bits for the first time in ages. Took DS to a new playgroup and he loved it and so did I! Had a good chat to some new people and most people were really friendly so feeling good that I took him. Managed to get his lunch down in when we came back and he was so tired he feel asleep while I was changing him, bless. So hes been asleep 2 hours, got loads done and made some batch meals for him and had lunch myself, just sat having a cuppa.

Solwaykid and AnWs Mum - thanks for the comments on DS, took it the other day when we were out visiting

Glad to see so many doing well today and welcome to all newbies!

Wow shell you've been busy, those pasties sound delish, I'm a sucker for pastry as my waistline will confirm.

Been looking at Ebay and it's a nightmare lol, downloaded turbolister and I didn't even know where to start (was having a practice) looks like too much hard work to me. and it's scary  but I must persevere I need to sell some things.

Completed my list though, would update it but the strikethrough doesn't work when I c&p it and I can't be bothered to do it all again, but it has been finished! hallelujah!

Have put the cupboards back together...had lots of lids and hardly any bottoms. I've thrown lots out. It looks all neat and tidy, but it won't last.....

I found my George Foreman grill, that I no longer use and was thinking of putting on ebay. It seems it was put away without being cleaned...no idea how long ago, so I thought I'd give it a good wash. I put some orange cleaner stuff on, but when I washed it off it seems to have taken bits of the non-stick coating off.....now I don't know whether to post it on ebay or not, do you think someone will buy it or should I just give it to charity/ throw it out?? I don't want to pay listing fees if there is no way someone would buy it like it is. What do you think?

I have caught up on my washing mountain.. and have both machines on a cleaning cycle so they WILL smell sweet!!

The DW has finished it's cleaning cycle so I'll load the dirty pots in there and wipe the surfaces down.

I've got another load hung up ni the airer and another load hung out.. towels and jeans so it doesn't really matter if it gets rained on.. I have to go collect the children in a minute so I'll have to wait until tonight for my shower.. buts that's ok.. I'll do pack ups while I do dinner and another loaf and the uniforms I'll have DD2 get ready.. she is a star usually and helpful.

I've got another bag of ebay parcelled packed up.. I have 5 carriers already and by the time I have got the bundles of fabric packaged probably another binbag full.. I need to package them in binbags anyway I think.. good job I bought an enormous roll of dirt cheap ones!!! I'll go wake DD5 up so we can collect the fleas.. looks like rain here..
