Frankie it took me about 3 weeks before I got it down to a quick clean and tidy.. BUT there are 10 of us in here and they can trash way faster than I can tidy!!! I think it depends on how well you keep on top of what you have done through the rest of the week and how many of you there are making the mess in the first place.

Decluttering is definitely the way to go.. if you don't need it, use or even remember owning it in the first place, get rid.. you won't miss it!

Afternoon all, not doing great, chatted to sis on the phone before she goes on hols tomorrow. Have just had a big barney with DS1 - in a nutshell we live on a corner right on the route to both primary and secondary, always loads of kids there at the end of my drive - not a problem for me. Well DS1 and his friend were out there with a football - been told not to do that in the past and loads of others joined in, one kid hit a passing car (happens to be a parent who lives close enough to walk but always drives). She was not happy and later on knocked on my door asking who the kid is - I said I don't know - I am lots of things but not a grass. I can understand she is not happy but just because it happened outside my house I am not taking responsiblity. Anyhow I told DS1 to come in and he gave me loads of attitude so I dragged him in by the scruff of the neck. He was still ranting even after being sent to his room. I hate his attitude, the way he always makes out he is being punished even when simply asked to do something. I am still sething and have a headache now. So what would you have all done??

Need to get kids to move their bags and I am shining my sink.

WOW! Just wow! DS1 was an ANGEL in the town. Usually he is a right wee pain in the a-re-a. Today he was just perfect! *proud* Realised I have now got enough stuff to finish a fair number of folks Christmas hampers (anyone who is thinking of getting the banana skin baskets from argos, they are heavy but really nice), so will do that tonight as a treat.

    Got ironing to do
WM came up a wee treat with the bleach, cheers!
Making kids tea (you folk have started me off with tea instead of dinner, dammit) they fancy bacon egg and chips, fair enough.
Cake tins to wash and send back to [STRIKE]the wicked witch[/STRIKE] mother in law

    I'm happy!

I'd have given said woman a tirade of abuse.. how dare she knock on your door? cheeky cow!! I hope you told her you wouldn't have told her even if you knew because it was probably just an accident.. and if she had any brains she would walk to school and stop polluting the atmosphere with her stinking car fumes :D

I probably would have just told the boys to be more careful with their balls and keep them off passing cars
