EDIT: oh and get the Prankster to blog this one - classic "Claimant made a claim with no evidence, surprised to find it thrown out in 5 minutes"

I've just emailed him now, so I'll wait for him to get in touch, although he'll probably be very pleased that MB have been 'Gladstoned again'!

You could also update your thread title to say that you won.

I've had a quick look as to how to do it but can't find anything. How do I edit the title of my thread?

  • Well done. I know it has been a stress full time for you but as a newbie it has been an enjoyment and eye opener to follow your case. There are some great people with a wealth of knowledge on this site. Thanks to them all.

I tried to follow the instructions (but ended up altering the title of the first post as you say). I've tried again, but I can't find anything that says 'Thread title', I've even been into my own CP, and it won't let me change anything that way either. I'm using a chromebook not a laptop, but surely that wouldn't make a difference?

Yes, if people can manage to get through their 'wobbles' it is worth fighting. After my meltdown I told myself that the worst case scenario would be that I would probably be a couple of hundred quid out of pocket, but that the whole thing would be over and done with and the took the pressure right off.

I'll go back to faffing about trying to find 'thread title' that I can actually click on!

It won't say the words, "thread title" in advanced edit, but should show the title itself that you just alter.

I went to the first post as was suggested and it allowed me to edit the title of that under advanced edit, but not the actual title of the thread. I can't find anything that allows me to do that. :(
