Hope the meeting is going well, mot.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

I'm back!
Meeting was an interrogation of my finances and ability to pay or not.
Have given them permission to contact my Chiropractor and previous GP for more evidence of my depression and physical condition - this will be done by fax once I have contacted both practitioners to confirm that they will help.
Once this is received she will again make a decision. I have enquired about moving into temporary accomodation before the 8th November and this is being looked into by the Snr HLO.
If I have to go to appeal then we can stay in the temporary accom until the appeal is heard - this will probably be early December - then if it goes against me again then we can stay in the temp accom until we find alternative accom but only for a short time (28 days I think - mind a bit confused again).Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Glad to see you back. At least it wasn't an outright can't help decision. Hopefully they will re-evaluate and come to a sensible decision.0

Hi mot - It COULD have been worse - at least no 'final' refusal and still a 'line of hope'.
However - it REALLY concerns me that the HLO is concentrating primarily on the financial side - it's almost, in my opinion, as if she needs to prove that your impending homelessness was purely of your own intent.
Hopefully the additional medical information WILL go in your favour.
I'm not convinced - sorry.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
