Have you noticed how many people are viewing this when I wrote first tonight it was 26014 reading and then less than 10 mins later its 26073! Viv
  • Floss, you are absolutely right. MOT should be down there tomorrow demanding to see the Head of Department and tell him/her that this !!!!! footing around is just not acceptable. The fact that MOT is living with the uncertainty second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day and they seem incapable of dealing with it with a sense of urgency is mind blowingly incompetent and totally lacking with understanding and sympathy. The lady may be entitled to a few days off but with a bailiff's warrant hanging over MOT's head she should have put the matter in the hands of the HoD to get on with. When this is all settled there will be strongly worded letters written to the Chief Executive, you can guarantee it. I am an expert in letter writing - ask MOT. They just can't be allowed to get away with treating people who are vulnerable and in dire straits like this. If this treatment was dished out to someone less resilient it could drive them to suicide. But I guess if that happened they'd just strike their name of the list, rub their hands and thank their luck for having one less desperate person to deal with.

I have written to the MP a very strong letter saying that enough is enough and I need URGENT intervention from him now, and I have emailed the local newspaper and asked them to read this thread on the forum and said that I have had enough now and would be grateful for anything they can do too.

Can anyone think of anything else please?

how about a sandwich board with MUM OF TWINS HOMELESS DUE TO HOUSING DEPARTMENT INCOMPETANCE on it and then go and parade around the council offices or outside the local paper/tv station or something!

It never ceases to amaze me how unfeeling the people dealing with these situations are.

You know MOT - the more I think about it the more I am amazed that, in the 21st Century, you STILL have to fight for what is yours by right.:angry:

Sleep well, and keep your strength up. :T
