Gforce - you were quite right, I actually took myself off to my neighbour for a coffee and she promptly whisked me off out to lunch which so nice of her:T

Meant to say that LL was at door this morning before I went to Drs asking for an update - so I told him that he probably knew more than me as he'd been speaking to HLO y'day. He replied 'well this has been going on too long, since January in fact' I must admit I stood up for myself and said that if he had done something about it sooner when I told him I was struggling then we wouldn't be in this situation now. He also went on again about me losing the children and not getting a council property.

!!!!!!? :mad: The Landlord has been talking to the HLO? Hello? Is this not a breach of the DATA PROTECTION ACT?

Oh she not the only person he's been talking to - he tells any viewers to any of the 3 properties he has here about me, he told his workmen about me, he discusses 'our situation' at the tennis club and he collared my Dad when he came to visit recently and told him about it - good job my Dad knew:mad: Even the Estate Agents know the 'ins and outs' of it all - but luckily they don't like him at all they just try to do their job!

:mad: Now I am furious too this I cant print what I am calling this creature LL. Please when the Police call tmwr give them ALL the instances where he has been harrassing you.
Now call me a drama queen (believe me I have been called worse:D ) But I would also consider taking steps to sue him for slander. Even a nice nasty letter from a solicitor should take the smile of his bit fat face. Maybe something to think about when you move hun:o You know the saying that "Revenge is a dish best served cold" After all why should this xx$$$??? have it all his own way.

Sorry to rant but if I lived closer to you I would dearly love to give this LL a large piece of my mind (even though I havent got much mind to spare:D ) This article is a bully coz you can bet your bottom dollar that no way would he hassle a man like he has you. Lets just take comfort in the fact that he is probably henpecked and bossed around like crazy at home by his wife.

Hi MOT - any harassment by your landlord is, now, totally illegal, as you, effectively, have the protection of the courts.
See what the police say, but I think you would be entitled to apply for an order banning him from any contact whilst things are being sorted.

Hi all,

Police came but said it wasn't harassment! But the PC still rang LL and left message for him to call him and said that if he (the PC) got a phone call from any of LL's tenants again he would paying him a visit - be nice to know if LL did call him.

Went to se HLO today and dropped off a letter to her from the school backing up our need for local authority housing - cried when I was talking to her - she is still waiting for Medical report from Dr (phoned and chased them again) and said she will be making a decision early next week - fingers crossed and lots of prayers please that it is a positive decision to house us!

Morning all, now got a stinking cold and despite taking Night Nurse had a rough night! Computer on a go slow at moment too:mad: tried ringing VirginMedia and doing all the usual virus checks, spyware and adaware checks, defragged it and optimised the internet connection - driving me mad! Posted a thread on Techie board and got some very helpful tips - but its still not quite right .

More packing this weekend - last bits and pieces although still need plates, mugs etc.

I have been reading this thread since it started - just want to send my best wishes MOT & good luck with the decision next week, hope you get a house so you can escape evil LL (and maybe egg his windows after you've gone!!)
