So fingers crossed all morning. Do you have the right to appeal the appeal? Can DBC appeal the appeal or is the decision binding on both of you?
I know that we can appeal against the decision if is a negative - that would mean going to court but my solicitor is prepared for that should it be necessary. I'm not sure about DBC being able to appeal though maybe someone else can answer that one?

SF will confirm, but I think any future appeal is on a point of law, rather than the decision.

s202 os housing act gives the right for the applicant to appeal on a point of law, i.e the authority have not made thier decision within the legal framework, the authority cannot appeal a decision made by its own panel.

MOT yours was the first thread I read on this site before christmas (looking up info for my sister). Hubby asked what I'd spent hours on the internet doing-but I had to read all of it. Now I check everyday to see what's happened and I just can't believe what you're still going through. I admire the way you've not only dealt with the most awful situations, but done it with dignity and still come out with a smile. A lesser person would have given in a long time ago!

I shall keep reading in the hope that you get the positive outcome you obviously deserve. Good luck and very best wishes :A
