Been to council to drop off extra paperwork they wanted but wasn't able to see HL Officer although spoke to her on internal phone. Have just called her to check she has everything she needs and for update, she will call me back as interviewing.

Decided to do as some of you have suggested and to make a 'pain' of myself but in a really nice way

Hi,

I've reading this and my thoughts are with you and the twins at this time, can't imagine what you are going through.

Are you still in receipt of housing benefit - if so ask HB dept if you can apply for Discretionary Housing Benefit if they have such a scheme - apologies if this has been mentioned to you before. Can be granted as said discretionary so no automatic right to it, but anything up to the whole amount of rent less any services can be paid. They may consider backdating, so would help with arrears.

Got removal companies coming to quote this pm and tomorrow morning - mainly cos I need the help and also the quotes are needed for Crisis Loan.
Unfortunately I don't know any strong men who can help me with moving :rotfl:
