CAP stands for Christians against Poverty - they are like CCCS and Payplan, yet they come to your home and see you. There is no charge and better still NO judgement! The report is excellent and hits the nail on the head completely. He has pointed out that you "Appear well dressed and well spoken" and then adds that this is a facade(ok not his words mine but you get the meaning:rolleyes: ) so that blows the LHO comment about you being in control well out of the water.:j I am so glad that he is arranging for you to be seen by the CPT as I have said to you several times you will need there support for some time to come even when this is all resolved. The underlying issues will still be there hun you will still need help and support to get over the other issues.
As for the doing odd things let share something with you all and this will have you all laughing .......................... I take photos on my mobile phone BEFORE dusting or moving anything so that I can be POSITIVE it all goes back in exactly the right place obviously using my ruler to make sure they are the correct space apart:p I also have to do my ironing on the same day and time exactly must never deviate from it!!!:p Now I dont think this is odd others may but tough its me.LOL As for the shopping for shoes thing well mine is as soon as I log on and a little window appears with the latest must have well I take that as a personal invite to "Have it" LOL OH gets very scared when he sees the computer go on!LOL:j

I_T you are one very special person and you and MOT deserve all the happiness in the world. It must surely be true in your case that "like attract like" you are both very special.:T

How is Adam getting on MOT hope the school thing and that x$£$xx swine is leaving him alone now.

Have they done a benefits check up for you, with regards to your Rent entiltment and council tax benefit. Also when they call next ask them to help you fill in the DLA forms. You most certainly qualify for this benefit Hun and it is not means tested.

That looks really good I had never heard of them. Where I live we have the Churches Homeless Project but they only seem to help the 'on the streets' type homeless whereas if they got in sooner there may not be so many homeless. All homeless deserve help but your system hopefully saves a lot of the agony. Viv XX

Hi Gill,

Have an appt with CAB on New Years Eve at 9.15am to go through benefit entitlements.

Hi, Gill - thanks for your lovely words about I-T and I:T .

You did make me laugh about your little 'habits' its good to know we all have them:D !

Adam had a problem at the play area this pm but he went straight to the supervising staff and they sorted it out - they know our situation and are very good with him.

I hope that you feeling better Gill and that you are your normal jovial self again :grouphug:

MOT, in your postings you said that you have a back & hip problem from a previous RTA? You may well be able to apply for DLA mobility component to help with getting around. You may also be able to get a "Blue Badge" which will help with parking. I find the BB so very useful.

We have a neighbour in here who the twins and I have chatted with a few times, a young lad and his pregnant girlfriend - nice couple and friendly. Anyway they knocked on the flat door last night about 7.45pm so I invited them in for a chat - they left at 11.45pm:eek: so we are all cream crackered this morning!! He was telling me that Head of Housing has been at 'it' again - there is a another young girl in here who has a 10month old daughter, they have been living a bedsit here for 6 months due to her and the baby's father having fallen out - arguing etc. Now H of H has said that it her fault that the father and her have argued and split up and has deemed her intentionally homeless and given her an eviction notice to leave on Christmas Eve!!! Now I know we don't know all the facts but to leave on Christmas Eve ! Apparently she is going to live in caravan!

Congratulations! Page 100; can't let that pass without a little celebration and a big THANK YOU to everybody for their continuing support. :j :T Been up since 5 this morning; woke too early So I prepared a draft witness statement for MOT's solicitor. I spoke to her and she said we could prepare it over the phone but I felt happier preparing the draft myself. It will be emailed to her today then maybe we can finalise it over the phone. I thought it best this way otherwise I could be on the 'phone for hours.
