Saw a chap in Blackpool today wearing a reindeer's-head cap.....very bizarre!

When I went to work, yesterday, they all seemed to be wearing them in the store (ASDA).

I have so much hair that I can't find a hat to suit me so maybe I could get one of these reindeer ones and just look stupid anyway:confused:

I've got a couple of those crocheted caps....then I just stuff my hair inside! Great, unless you go for a walk along the sea front in a bracing wind...as we did on Sunday night. Result - one hat in a puddle, one face full of hair & sand

I can remember walking along the same seafront too Floss in November - the wind was extremely bracing and I had no hat so my ears were frozen and really painful, tears in my eyes and a runny nose!

Still, they say sand in the face is a good and very MSE exfoliator - but a little painful when it gets in your eyes!

Comedienne of the same name - isn't that you? :D

P.S. fancy Googling yourself.....you just wanted to see how famous you are don't you?! :D
  • I've tried three times today to post but each time got an error message saying my post wasn't long enough! So, I'm typing this in the hope that it gets posted this time. My earlier attempts were to say that I had emailed the MP to give him a 'nudge' but have only had an acknowledgement thus far. Ampersand you've really socked it to them and I couldn't have put it better myself; thank you. I agree that a Judicial Review would be a 'must' if the LA are going to stick to their 17th eviction date. Failing that a complaint/appeal to the Official Ombudsman. By the time we are all through the only person left to appeal to will be the Queen. Mmmm, now there's a thought. As for MOT being turned down for her loan applications - begging letter to Richard Branson? I know it must have been painful for MOT breaking down in front of the Councillors but I think it was probably timely. MOT is not the type of person to 'milk the system' and her tears would have been genuine. Let us hope it melted their hearts. Hope MOT and I get a better night's sleep tonight. She texted (is that a word?) me this morning to say she was awake by 3.30am and there was me only just going to sleep by then! I'll have to dig out the Valerian drops tonight.
