  • Thanks A for the pm to MOT and the useful suggestions. I have made a number of amendments to the letter as a result. The HO shouldn't need laxatives after she's read it!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :T :T This made me laugh out loud. I think that the whole system (can't single out one person isn't fair) is due a dose of something icky (to be polite).

Reminds me of when I worked in hr, one of the workers had to bring in a self cert form as to why he was off. He had done his best to spell diahorea (sp:confused: ), and in the end wrote I 'ad the !!!!!! instead.

    Morning all,

Have sent revised copy of letter to MP for his perusal and comments.

Off to Drs this morning with my Support Worker from the HA so that she can explain just how crucial it is for more detailed evidence of my depression and how its been affecting me. Then over to I-T's (he has the day off) to shop for the RUG! We found one on Friday but it wasn't big enough and I-T had a niggle about it but it would look FAB in his lounge - all warm and inviting.........mmm..got me thinking about another massage now:rotfl: :rotfl:

Behave, this is a family forum!

Great letter BTW.... should have somebody's decision-making process reviewed if nothing else!

    Love to all

    Floss xx
  • Just back from shopping and MOT helped me chose a nice rug for my lounge. She has such good taste - well I do too but the trouble is it's Champagne taste but shandy money. I bought a few things for MOT too 'cos she's worth it'.

Had a yummy shopping day;) !

Went to Dr with SW and she will be writing a report in more detail to 'back up' my case for appeal. Tomorrow I will be spending the day in the flat ( ) going through the case file and my finances to compile more challenges for the LA  .

Picked up this thread, because it was headed Housing Benefit:

(usually check things that may be useful for mot)
    Marked posts 8, 27, 39, 42, 49, 50, 62, then found 'our' excellent gillianh2 posting more, much-needed, sense there.
imo, original poster needs a reality check, against mot's experience....
mot - meant to check that you are keeping a regular eye on your things in storage.
