With regard to the HHG, yes you can go on line & 'Have your say'. Great suggestion that we all do just that. Mille grazie Rog2.0

He also added that he believed the temporary accomodation MOT and the twins were in now was illegal in view of the ages of the twins and their different gender; that they should not be sharing the same bedroom.
As far as I'm aware it isn't illegal. When we've had this crop up at work, our legal services have told us there is no law that prohibits different gender children sharing a room even when 1 of them is over 10.
I'm glad MOT has such a supportive MP & I do hope he knows what he's talking about but I think you need to start thinking about a plan B (if you haven't already) just in case things don't go well.0 -

Yes Gforce - old memories prompted me to check this out early on; it has something of the Urban Myth about it. Hence, did not raise it at a time when mot did not need more strain.
Your comments - wise, as always.

Aaaahhh in that case MOT also needs a plan C! If the review doesn't go well, where will she live? If the solicitor takes on her case and the LA still refuse to rehouse her, then taking them to court (if that's an option) can take a couple of years.
What if the LA agree to reconsider the medical priority, the specialist report is submitted but after assessment is still declined?
Sorry to be so negative but I would rather think of the 'what ifs' and help plan for them, rather than expect that the MP's & local papers involvement will magically reverse the original decision. Hopefully it will be all that's needed but in my experience it doesn't always work that way.0 -

You're not being negative Gforce -
You are being judicious, with experience backing every post you make.
Plan C would be for FM to instruct Adam Fullwood.
Given the entire progression of this case and all the 'Shouldn't Happens' which HAVE happened, many of us still feel protective and wary.
We'll doubtless remain so until mot holds Open House at the Eminently Suitable New Abode!
But mot IS in a better position and state of mind than she was, which, in turn, is buoying and helpful. The CAP people, friend's Aunt, SW and others(earlier posts)add to this.
I repeat, your posts are first-rate; please don't feel they may be read in any other light.

Thought you were already en route to KENT, mot.
What are you doing still here?
re:'Just can't seem to work out what to do for the best' -
TODAY IS NOT THE DAY FOR IT.
Gforce, teeni, sf and others will doubtless clarify(FM certainly will)but my info. strongly suggests you would have a 'stay pending further action' situ. here.
Now, off you go and have a wonderful time - buongiorno's to IT and sister too.

Yeh M-O-T, I agree with Ampersand - get yourself away and enjoy your day. The advice and support (and offers of tea - MOI!!) will still be here when you get back. You owe it to yourself and the bairns to relax and forget about EVERYTHING else today. Put yourself first me darlin, recharge those batteries and get as merry as possible on the mulled wine, red wine, baileys, tia maria etc
. Oh n dont forget the paracetemols for the hang-over !! xxx
