glad that the solicitor has decided to take your case.

What a sweet thing for your DD to say about making sure you are getting enough support. Bless. Tell her that was a very grown up thing to say, and that it is ok for her to cry!

I hope that the coming week brings you all good news

 Glad the school meeting is out of the way and went kindly - snuggles to DD, inner strength and stoic indifference to DS, so bullies can make no mark - think of it as training for the England Mgr job, DS;) .
    Good luck this afternoon mot.

  • So so glad the soliciotrs worked out, - sorry it is a commute to see them but at least they came up trumps.

It does make me mad the way some absent fathers (yup there are mums too) just go back on all the guff the spout when you first split - cant live with my children etc etc and then five years down the line see as little as possible. My ex was supposed to see them every other weekend and this has gone down to once every three weeks but with constant long breaks inbetween.

Has a great life spoilt by his parents to whose house my girls go to, - so no expense when he has them, pays £110 a month but can afford to go skiing in Canada etc and the lies he spins makes me so upset and angry. Hey ho this is NOT about me!!!!!!

    Big hugs alround

Do they see much of their dad? Mine were supposed to be there every other weekend (as long as he had nothing else on, and they kept the time free for him). As time went on they went less, now they see him about 2-3 times a year! It's my DF who does the "dad" type-things, like moving them to Uni, discussing Terry Pratchett or Isaac Asimov books with eldest, or playing guitar with the younger one!! He's also the soft touch when they're skint....not like their mum :D
We agreed he would see them every 2 weeks - he would pick them up Sat am and drop them off Sun late pm. The first year it averaged out every 3 weeks this year he has been better with it being virtually fortnightly. I have to ask him if he would like to have them for a week in the school holidays (thats 1 week out of 13 weeks he begrudingly has them to stay). I also asked him several times when we split to call them regularly ie: as often as he liked but a minimum of once a week and has he? Like hell he has:mad: but the kids don't miss it so why should I be worried? I-T is a much better father figure to them and also a better role model so for that I am very grateful.

I'm sitting here at I-T's desk trying to fax over 52 pages to my solicitor on his high tech fax - it will not get the better of me, I WILL manage to send the docs:confused: !

Even from the tone of your posts you sound so much more relaxed finally the light at the end of the tunnel.))))))))))))))))))HUGS))))))))))))
You must and should be so proud of the Twins what DD said was amazing and so sensitive and is a testament to a great Mum.
I am so glad that I_T is there to support the kids as well as you there is a saying..."you can pick your friends but you cant pick your family" think that should be changed to include dead beat dads and mums (close family has dealt with an absent Mother!)
    Try
to get the counselling going and make an appt to the GP to get your meds reviewed.
