The Appeal process SEEMS(in deference to and respect for Gforce and teeni) ludicrous, in that they allow no personal reps, present printed statements to a Committee of whom I see only one councillor so designated on their own site. What does it contravene to leaflet each and every of these good folk and flag the circumstances of the forthcoming Appeal up to them? Make them aware that the panel of five on the day are ALL aware of what they stand to gain/lose in publicity?
Why not think the unthinkable and then do it?
mot has experienced the unthinkable and unbelievable up till now.
Other views please?

I spoke to my friend last night who is a Judge specialising in Mental Health and she suggested that MOT's number one job is to get a soliciotr to put into place a Judicial Review for the second evicition, she has given me a name of a solicitor, that she has come across in Mental Health/Homelessness who are highly experianced and do Legal Aid. So just waiting to hear back from them.

The Judicial Review does not examine the decision, itself but how the deicion was came to (does that make sense.!!!) which I think all of us would say was dubious in the least.

Yes, you are right in all of this - a few of us have been digging along same lines and checking out Eagle Beagles who do Legal Aid, even if they do not offer Fixed Interview fee at first blush.
Have to repeat: the Law Society site can only be as up-to-date as the listed Firms ensure, with staff change/addition/specialism.
It does mean calling numerous firms, but we're getting there.

She may been seen as "perverting" the review process...maybe better to try & get her Councillors on her side. IMO the Council may look at it as a reason to support the HLO & uphold the original decision.

Still trying to get that figure from our Advice people....will post when I have figures.
