    Morning all,
MOT - Woo-Hoo!! Have a lovely weekend! :smileyhea xxx

Up here we're in the run-up of the Newcastle v Sunderland derby this afternoon, just hope it ends in a draw and the Mags and the Mackams hug each other and wish each other well at the end of the game. As If!! (Im a Mag but dont arf fancy Roy Keane, Lucky Mackams!)

Looks like you just got your wish doesn't it lol (final whistle just gone), I'm a mack but the hubby is a mag.

MOT bet your glad I-T is back today:T
    Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
    Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:

It must be my vocation in life to be a cleaner:rotfl: as I have spent the morning cleaning I-T's house and am now all hot and bothered here! Also have cooked a nice curry for our meal tonight so nothing to do when we get back apart from open a good bottle of wine and sit and chat whilst eating our meal - then pack the twins off to bed and ...................................;)

I am just trying to work out what the ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:rotfl: :rotfl: means LOL:j
Having the HO coming to see you on Tues and when she sees how you have transformed the flat, I would think that Should go in your favour to the HLO making the final decision.:D I hope you took photos of the pit before you started your clean up. These could then be used If the HLO gives you a negative final decision. If you didnt manage to take photos a statement from the HO who saw the state of the flat on Tues and D who helped you clean it would be useful as would the receipts for all the cleaning products you had to buy.
But for the rest of the weekend just relax and enjoy..:rotfl: :rotfl:............... ................... with I_T:rotfl:
:j I have a persecution complex. Everytime I pass a shoe shop they persecute me till I buy them:j
  • MOT - I can almost smell the curry from here! Lets hope the twins are tired enough to sleep so you can ...................................... all night long!

  • Hi MOT,
    Another of your 'readers' here!
Thought it was about time I posted on your thread after following it!
So glad you have somewhere, even if it is just temp, and you don't have to share like you would in a B & B.
What a crazy system you've become tangled in...Anyway, hopefully your housing officer will pull her finger out and give you a permanant home.
I want to see pics! Did you take some of the flat before the scrub down?

Catch you later...will be back to see if you've updated!

 OMG I just spent the whole afternoon reading your thread MOT (I should've been tidying up :o )

I started reading because I couldnt work out who I_T was, or what I_T stood for but I ended up reading all 50 pages

He really sounds like an amazing guy, who has supported you so well through the past months - well done Tony :T

Good luck to you and the twins in the flat, hopefully the council will sort you out with a permanent home very soon. Hugs to you all :grouphug:

So what was I-T's verdict on the flat?

    Any news from the HLO?

What did the HO think of the transformation?!

    Love Floss xx

    Morning all -
Hello floss2, you're just ahead of me.
Did everyone have tech. difficulties with site yesterday?
Just another concerned bod out here, mot.
Good to see Gforce is on Green Light now, too.
As others have said, if your marvellous friends D&T can make some sort of statement about the conditions you found at the flat, that would be more power to your armoury, especially if no-one took pix. Yes, also as others have said, keep receipts for cleaning materials, but I am just concerned that the decency of D&T might be held against you, rather as others counselled in the early days, re: having 'friends' upon whom you could impose meaning LA had a way out of helping.
I have no expertise here, but I wondered if it might be seen as a parallel.
    Can you help here, Gforce?
    Rainy Tuesday.
