Yep, once today's OP has cleared we will be about £550 away, which will be paid next week. To say that a month ago it was at almost £134k I'm really chuffed :TMFW

Morning all
Two eBay items sold overnight, so £16.51 OP made. NSD ahead - more work to do for DH, and the usual housework.
Had a :T moment last night. I'd bought a new book from amazon a couple of weeks ago but not started reading it. Saw it in the library yesterday, so I sold the book online immediately, OPd the money, and have now started the library copy. £9 saving :j shows a MFW way of thinking.
Have fab day all xxMFW

I always try and check the library catalogue when I'm tempted by amazon. There's also a brilliant browser plug-in that will check automatically, but sadly it doesn't have many UK library systems in it. You might be lucky though.

Three things left on eBay, if they all sell it would be £56 so fingers crossed.
I've put the biggest item on gumtree too. Online banking for the mortgage still hasn't caught up, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to have the exact figures xMFW

Made myself a yummy lunch using bits and pieces from the fridge that needed using up - very MFW
I will need to spend some money - we are out of soured cream and need some to accompany tonight's chilli. Only around 65p spend though so not too bad
I have been giving some thought to the journey we are on. We are almost at a point now where we cannot generate extra income just through ebay sales and such like, and our bills & housekeeping expenditures are as low as they can be.
With that in mind, the next step is to generate more income through my working. I have worked for myself before, but in a very pressured position that brought a lot of stress. I have been musing over another small business idea for a while, and now have a business plan in place. If it takes off, it would generate some extra funds and also get me out and about a bit more. When the children are at school and pre-school, I am home alone and do crave more adult company. The business would give me the flexibility I need to fit it around the family. So this weekend will be spent ordering business cards, leaflets and a uniform :TMFW

Morning sunny here so may go for walk later.
Well done getting closer to the 20's.
We had a lovely time in Edinburgh and only put £70 on the debit card £60 for petrol on the way back. Car can guzzle gas pulling the caravan.
I have just transferred money into 2 tesco accounts maxed them out was lucky as applied just before they suspended applications so we have 3 between us.
Been sorting paperwork this week shredded a lot.
Need to put a few bits on bay but need motivation.
Not sure if I had an epiphany the other day, our fixed rate ends in Aug so was thinking how I can op over the next 2yrs didn't want to remortgage and increase monthly payments too much but as the amount we can op will significantly decrease so I kept thinking how am I going to pay this mortgage off without incurring charges.
So playing with overcalculators lightbulb went off I can still op staying within the 10% and save the extra money a month to pay the outstanding balance at the end of next fixed rate which will hopefully be Aug 2019 - does that sound right can I do that?Mortgage
