    morning all,

Went for a walk yesterday, and did a comedy trip thing over a stone, and jarred my neck, have woken up this morning and can't move, neck is soooo stiff, this is something a regulally suffer from, and I have tried everything but you just have to sit it out.

So not a lot will be going on in my house today, OH and dd will have to cook diner, I got 6 tiny lamb chops out and some sausages, may do a bbq, with garlic roasted pots and veggies.

My mum went out yesterday and bought 13lbs of tomatoes for £3 !! which is great, i told her that its only a bargain if she actually uses them  she has done similar before and ended up throwing them away, so I told her to make soup and tom sauce for pasta.

    Happy birthday JCR.

    Good morning all,

Long time no post, very sorry. Last couple of weeks of pregnancy have been fun in and out of hospital mainly because there was very little wrong with us I think! I had a c-section on the 12th of September and am very proud to announce that I had the most beautiful baby boy George Henry Joseph he was born at 39 weeks weighing 11 lb's 8.5 oz!

congratulations to you all  what a lovely big baby and soooo gorgeous xx
  • Morning all!
Been a bit lax this week, haven't done b***r all!
DS is still asleep, read half the Sunday papers, another coffee needed I think.
OH turned up Friday, and had to rush off Sat morn, work crisis, so I'm on my own this weekend:sad:

:bdaycake: to all who's birthday it is today!

Life seems a bit, don't know, boring....at the moment, maybe it's me, maybe it's work, who knows? I've got some right ones in my class this year. How some of them got to Year 5 without being able to read I don't know! Got my work cut out there!

Pork for dinner today. Got to sort out my freezer later, I don't know what's in there!

    Have a good day all!

    Morning all,

Pen Pen, I can’t wait to see your garden pics!
Penny-Pincher, I hope your mouth is healing well. At least you had a good sleep.
dlb and Essex girl, good luck to your ds's in their matches.
shez, I blanche the green beans before freezing.
redruby, I hope your back feels better soon.
alibob, he looks absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations! When my last ds was born the midwife said to me he looks good enough to eat….and when he’s a teenager you’ll wish you had eaten him!
Happy Birthday to jcr and freyaluck, I hope you have a good day!
    :bdaycake: :bdaycake:

Well it’s a horrible grey morning here and lots of rain is forecast but at least I got the grass cut yesterday.

It’s been a busy weekend so far….ds1 is at Scout camp for the weekend. He gets home from school at 5.30pm so it was a quick turn around to get him fed and organised and at camp for 6.00pm. I made him some of Twinks hobnobs to take with him. It’s a challenge weekend and his patrol came second last year so he’s really hoping for first place this year.

Saturday morning was an early start, first we had to take dd to her Saturday job, then we had to drive to Scout camp, collect ds2 and take him to rugby, and then return him to camp again when it was over! Apparently it was one of the most important matches of the season (which only began a couple of weeks ago) that he couldn’t miss! At least they won the match so it was worthwhile.

As ds1 was away I spent some one to one time with ds2….we went to the park, made fifteens (which are his favourite thing to make as he loves bashing the digestives) and gave his kite an airing at the local playing fields. After all that I really couldn't be bothered to cook last night so we had a chinese takeaway....and I've had the leftovers for breakfast. :o

Not much planned today….I had a lie in so I’m behind already, but I fancy doing some baking. Got to collect ds1 from camp late this afternoon and I’m making (his favourite) roast lamb for dinner tonight.

    I hope you’re all having a good day…take care,

    Pink
  • Congratulations Alibob!!!!! :j That's great news and he's lovely.

    Happy Birthday JCR and Freyaluck:beer:

Quiet day here. It's absolutely pouring again and we're all getting cabin fever. I decided to make the best of it yesterday and we lit a big log fire and had proper hot chocolate and HM scones while playing monopoly. Then ate our HM lentil and bacon soup in front of the fire and X factor last night. It was very cosy but I'd love to get out for a walk today.

I've had a lazy morning so far. No housework whatsoever. :o Plan is to sort out girl's wardrobe and see what I have to ebay, then do a batch of banana bread and flapjacks for the lunchboxes. DTwins have a party to go to at 2pm and then tea will be reduced price roast chicken with swedes, broad beans and runner beans from the garden. :D

PenPen....Where did you get your cherry pie plant??? :p

I'd love to know if all the MIAs are ok. Haven't seen Snowy and Churchmouse for ages either.

Hello to the new posters from yesterday. Prepare for addiction. ;)

Hope you're not too stiff and sore today Nelski.

Churchmouse is on holiday I think. I'm not sure where snowy is but I miss her too! :(

Nelski, I just read about your accident...I hope you're ok this morning. As others have said the car is replaceable, you aren't!

    Hello

Finally got on here. Been swamped at work. Not had a day off this week, and don't get one till next Sunday.

Flat's going well. Got to give the go ahead for searches, and hope to complete by October 4th:T

Done my daily clicks on archerfish and ploughing through survey invites.

Roast dinner today - cooked by Mum - and I might make a banana bread or apple crumble later. Depends what time I get out of work

    Hope everyone's ok

Afternoon, just. Happy Birthday JCR16 & Freyaluck! Congratulations Alibob!!! He's so lovely, what a size aswell!

Just a quick one from me, still house hunting at the mo, will hear back about one we like next week hopefully but not holding out too much hope as hit a lot of problems.

Packing and decluttering continues, running out of boxes so trying to think where I might be able to get some from, might try freecycle. Getting VERY windy here and power has flickered several times so going to get the candles out just incase.

Hugs to all who would like/need one, hope you all have a nice day.
One day I might be more organised...........
