Like others have said get photos re done
I would get the main house outside as the 1st photo, then the others follow on, with the garden last.
Main photo outside, make sure all the windows are either open or closed, not a mixture and all the curtains are back neatly.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

EDIT: Also is there a driveway? The way the front photo is taken makes me think the front is something you might not want to see or straight on a road
I'm not 100% sure if I get what you mean but will answer how I think you mean- yes the property goes kinda straight on to the road (pavement) from where that photo ends, we get two cars on that bit that shows (its a small driveway) but I guess the angle is slightly weird!
edit: also we are tied in to a 12 week contract so have a few weeks left yet

When we are viewing houses, unless they are exceptional, we immediately discount those with "offers in excess of" because we have no idea that that actually means! Pick a price that you would be happy to sell the house at and add say 5% for haggling and that should be the listed price, none of this "offers in excess of" business.
Other than that I agree with the other feedback that the pictures do not show the house well at all. Looking at the floorplans the size of the bedrooms is not massive so I think that would also put viewers off.
I have no idea if £240k is a realistic price for that size of house in that area but if you are brave and can afford it then try reducing it by say 5k a month and see how the numbers of viewings and feedback changes on the back of that... all I would say is that I would expect a little bit more for that kind of money but then I do live up north where houses are a lot cheaper!0 -
For me if photo 1 is not the front of the house I move on and don't even look at the rest of the photos / details.
I would:
move the front of the house to photo 1
Paint the fence (the one at the front of the house)
put some colourful flowers / pots etc. outside the front
You have already tidied the garden
get the photos re done
Don't bother with the bathroom photo if they cant improve the angle
I painted the front fence yesterday and it looks 100% better
thank you - I agree with this totally, makes sense to see people saying it now though.
THANKS EVERYONE... ps. anyone wanna buy a house haha xx0 -

ok, thanks for the feedback on the OIEO thing, we have already come down 30k in two months, 240k is really about 10k lower than it is worth (imo) but it is priced to sell quickly as we don't want to lose the house we are buying. I do agree it isn't a very known thing to do so will chat to EA about it.0 -
It's not a particularly big house, but if that's what you get for the money, it's just waiting for a buyer. August is dead anyway. Tell the EA to get rid of the 'draft details awaiting vendor approval' - it's been two months!
Being picky - kitchen pic is nice (apart from the wonky sign over the door
), but garden pic is a bit rubbish - could they have stood a bit further back or in a room to take it? And the lounge pic isn't good at all. Is there a focal point? Bedroom pic looks very cluttered. Clear the lot - just one thing over the bed (and iron the duvet cover). Bathroom a bit bland and cramped - is there room at the other end of the bath to put toiletries? It does have a general look of being outgrown.
Good luck.
Jx
I did consider removing the wonky sign, it was a bit of a family joke, but I added two more wonky signs to it - think I will remove them all as it was in my mind that others may not be as odd as me lol!
Overgrown is an understatement, its hard with 4 kids in tow to pull this off
I can thank the surprise arrival of twins (BOGOF) for that maybe...
Thank you0 -

does that make any sense?
The front photo should be the front of the house. It also needs to be taken further back to show where I can park my car.
Most of the photos could be made better just by using a different angle. The garden photo you took looks better than the agents. turn it 45 degrees to the left and that would be even better.
Maybe remove the desk in the kitchen, move the kitchen table parallel with the island and put the spare armchair in the corner (if it will fit)
the master bedroom was better the way it was, the photo just needs to be pulled back a bit and the white table in the corner gone.
Again, bathroom pulled back to show what's in it. maybe put a nice rug down. eg. the same as their bathroom http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-41168377.html
Again, the girls bedroom needs to be pulled back to show space. like this one: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-41168377.html

Ha! Tell us about it. I live along the coast from Eastleigh in a large village where a 4 bedroom ex-council terrace with a conservatory (I think) round the corner from me went for a shade under £300K!0 -

The master bedroom actually feels a load bigger when you walk in it now, you had to shuffle round the bed before, but everything else I agree with
thank you! 0
