The boots were a good buy , even better in the sale. Envious of your 7lb weight loss.
I was so pleased yesterday when doctor said BP was very good. Another thing of the list of ailments , it’s bobbins getting older.
A three day week would be good at 60. As you say, we can only do the best we can and try to plan.
Your BP results must have bucked you up no end. DD and her OH both say ‘bobbins’ Reminded me of them!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I worry about that too, I'm due to retire when I'm 67 which is just over 13 years away, but I'm worried that they'll change it before I retire.

Thanks Hairy.
Today I woke up to more rain after it pelted down all day yesterday. However in the last couple of hours it’s changed to sleet and now snow and is beginning to settle.
No Pilates this weekend as the studio is being used for a workshop event. Tonight my friend and I are off to see “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”. Just realised that I can get two for one cinema tickets via my “Times” subscription so that’s i result!:T
Today I’m going to finally put up my bedroom curtains that I bought the other week. Bedclothes need changing and ironing to do.
Paper decluttering went well yesterday and managed to shred quite a bit that’s not needed. Also going to arrange for a new State Pension forecast as I’m sorting out pensions at the moment.
Have a good Sunday everyone.Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Did you enjoy the film SSG? I got asked at work if I wanted to join them watching the next 50 shades film. That will be a categorical NO. I watched the 1st and was not interested at all.

The 50 Shades films don't appeal to me at all. I think I'm too old for all that nonsense. Who'd want to be with someone that domineering? I'd kick him to the curb if I got treated like that .
Hope you enjoyed the film and work was ok SSGFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hi Hairy and Cumbria. NO I definitely WOULD NOT see the 50 Shades films! Never even bothered to read the books! Perhaps it is our age or maybe we’re just not masochistic!:rotfl:
The “Three Billboards” film was excellent and deserves all the hype around it. Blackly funny, violent and sad all in one pot! Booking tickets for the weekend to see ‘The Post’ - using my cut price promo code from The Times!
Not spent anything since Monday apart from buying milk. Not even had my Monday Pret coffee with my friend as she’s trying to give up smoking and says the coffee makes her want a cigarette! That’s fine by me so some spends saved there.
I received one of my pension transfer documents so will go through this and sort it out ASAP.
Today I’m off work as I’m taking DSIs for her birthday day out to see ‘The Dreamgirls’ matinee and then early dinner afterwards. I’ve paid for the tickets but all drinks, taxi from restaurant to stations, dinner will be paid for by me so a spendy day! Her half of dinner, taxi and half of drinks will come out of gifts budget though.
