I've seen them in a pantomime, but I'm not sure I can claim to have met them :rotfl:.

Good luck with the diary Cumbria - it was rather a scenic route to debt busting that finished abruptly with a fall off the cliff!:rotfl:

Well it’s been a rather odd, forgetful few days - “Mercury in retrograde” I think is the astrological term!

Thursday - I had booked an appointment at the docs that morning to have my blood pressure checked as when I picked up my last set of pills the chemist told me they had a note from my surgery to let me know it was due. Duly put it on my calendar, the surgery sent me a text reminder and told boss I would be late in. So what did I do - I got up and went straight to work! Boss gave me an odd look when I came in and then I remembered! This was immediately followed up by a terse text from the surgery telling me I had missed my appointment. I’m now on the naughty step at the surgery!:(

DSis also rang and mentioned about DD and OH’s visit this month for our “Alternative Christmas” weekend which I thought was at the end of the month and she confirmed was next weekend!

Friday- work was extremely full on, but it was my colleague’s birthday so I went for a very quick one at her lunchtime drinks - was pleased that I had one glass of Prosecco ( still thinking of diet as well) and came straight back. I had a project to finish so decided to do my other tasks and work a bit later on the project after most had gone home and it was quieter. At 5.30pm our systems shut down! I had forgotten that IT was shutting it early that evening. So now I’ve missed my deadline!

Today - had appointment for pedicure this morning at 10.15. Set alarm for 8am. Had a restless night, woke up at 3am and couldn’t get back to sleep for ages. When alarm went off pressed stop instead of snooze button and woke up at 10.35! Made grovelling call to salon who were very nice about it and booked me in next week!

Do you think it’s early dementia? I am eating lots of fish in mitigation. :)

Pluses were that I’ve managed to stick to another 500 calorie day of the 5:2, had two NSDs and was paid out £17.50 today from the dress agency!:T.

Settling down tonight with more fish for dinner to help with the dementia!:)

    Have a good evening everyone.

I think it's down to having a lot to remember rather than dementia SSG :) I get worried sometimes when my mind goes blank or I forget someone's name.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I think that you are just tired and busy SSG. These dark mornings and cold temperatures don't help.

Try and do something relaxing at the weekend ( although eating fish will be good for you :D). Are you still doing Pilates.? That is very calming. I've often thought that Tai Chi would make me feel relaxed :).

I’ve got my Pilates session tomorrow so that’s one good thing. Tai Chi also has a good rep. I was watching a programme the other night where a group of older pensioners took a weekly class. They absolutely swore by it for relaxation and feeling more flexible.
