Well done on the lottery win. That’s a nice surprise. At least you are still going on the cleaning front. I’ve done barely anything today. Really struggling with motivation at the moment.3

Sun_Addict said:I've been the same SSG, moods up and down and feeling meh. Can't be helped in the current situation. We just need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and we're back getting on with it again. Well done on the lotto win 🎉😁HairyHandofDartmoor said:I think the novelty of lockdown is wearing off as several people seem to be feeling a bit wobbly at the moment. I think if you start doing your walks and stretches again it will help your mood and help you to sleep. There's something very lowering to the mood in seeing the same four walls all the time.
Very good news about your company doing well despite the lockdown. It's good to know that it's not a disaster for all businesses.

There has certainly been something in the air with lots of folk feeling down...the novelty of being at home has worn off, the sun has gone in and the news has been depressing for what seems forever. But we’re made of strong stuff and there’s signs of things going back to a more normal life in other countries now...our time will come 🤞😀
Your plant sounds lovely.Skinnylatte said:Brilliant about the lottery win. My friend who is now working from home full time says she's so tired by the end of the day. The virtual meetings she finds really exhausting.
I've managed to clean the fridge out today and sort the laundry as per day 2 of the book

Wow a lottery win. That's great.
Sorry you were a bit meh. Me too. Ah well, onwards and upwards and all thatIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Today it's nice and sunny in Seasideville so this has brightened up my mood. I'm going out for a walk later and will get back to my stretches on my return.Yesterday I went to Waitrose for the weekly shop. A bit more of a queue but this may be because I went on a Friday morning. I didn't wait long though. Dried pasta still appears to be in short supply. On my journey there and back I noticed that quite a few of the streets have put out bunting for VE Day this Friday. On one particular long street there was bunting across the road on every house - it looked fantastic. I think there must be a Facebook page or something for the street to arrange the coordination on this project During lockdown. The houses are all pre-war terraces with small front gardens so I'm assuming everyone is going to be sitting in their front gardens toasting VE Day in lieu of a street party!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧I've managed to get back into my reading a bit more. I finally got into the new Hilary Mantel but stopped and have started the first part of the trilogy (Wolf Hall) again. She is such a wonderful writer I want to savour the whole trilogy in one fell swoop!😊END OF SCRIMPY WEEK 1 - MAY
Outgoings consisted of groceries, FB, lottery, iTunes downloads charity and toiletries spends. I want to pick up some extra FB bits when I go out later.Via my work bonus I also topped up my pension, premium bonds plus top up premium bonds for little nephew.I've decided to keep my travel insurance going in case I need it - I and DSIs's family have flights booked over the Whit weekend as we were flying up to Scotland. I'm still awaiting confirmation from easyJet as to the cancellation. They're cancelling in seven day increments and you can't claim via the online refund form until they confirm cancellation. If the flights aren't cancelled they're saying you can't have a refund, only vouchers, which is ridiculous as we are in lockdown. 😡. So we might have a battle on our hands.
And I still have to sort out the Marcus savings account!I'm seriously thinking about buying some sort of collapsable office desk plus chair during this lockdown, and for WFH sporadically when lockdown finishes, as this the way the firm seems to be going. I'll get the cost reimbursed through work. I don't want to do it but it means I can have a proper screen - the laptop screen is driving me mad and is slowing me down.CLEANING PROJECT
Yesterday's Cleaning and Maintenance was the Wardrobe - which I left till today being a non-work day and it's a biggish job. I just did the usual daily tidying yesterday. This morning I did the usual tidying up and maintenance clean and tidy and will get on with the Wardrobe later. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The desk I’ve got at the moment is a very small one on wheels so you can just wheel it out of the way when not in use. It was from Argos but it was a couple of years ago so don’t know if they still have it. Worth looking though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
