I love the cleaning plan, even though I've got the book, I cant get any motivation right now. I did clean out the cereal cupboard! New business and no redundancies is good. How would you feel about working from home on a more permanant basis?Pay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Hi @Skinnylatte - the cereal cupboard is good! At least you've made a start!😂doingitanyway said:Loving reading your cleaning schedule. I can't wait until I can get stuck in. Still waiting for the book!
Have a good dayI keep having mixed feelings about WFH permanently. On the one hand no commuting is great. On the other, my home working environment space wise is not perfect and the work systems are slower. I've also been feeling over the last few days that I'm not switching off properly when I finish each day. At the office I switch off when I leave the office each evening - here the elephant is always in the room so to speak. ☹️
I hope your book arrives soon @doingitanyway - mind, on reading your diary you appear to be making good inroads without it!😀
Work has been v. busy still and I feel I haven't stopped. I had a couple of long conference dial in meetings that have cut into my work day and that hasn't helped. I've been feeling a bit meh over the last few days - I've not gone for my walks or done my stretches and Weight Watchers has gone out of the window. I woke up in the middle of the night last night and couldn't get back to sleep for ages. This is most unlike me as I'm not one to have problems sleeping. Anyway I've got to pull myself out of this pity party and count my blessings in these dark days.SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
No spends. I've still to sort out the Marcus savings account and want to look into cancelling and getting a refund on my travel insurance.Bright spot - I won £126 on the lottery last night!😊
CLEANING PROJECT
Nothing I'm afraid the last few days - I'm hardly a shining example on the 30 Day cleaning front. The next tasks are finishing cleaning the bathroom thoroughly and putting things back in the cupboard under the bathroom sink ( or Vanity as she calls it). I've already done this so will sort out the bathroom cupboard which she hasn't really mentioned apart from medicines. The Maintenance task is giving the kitchen a quick going over. Will rouse myself and try and get these done when I finish work later on.Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I've been the same SSG, moods up and down and feeling meh. Can't be helped in the current situation. We just need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and we're back getting on with it again. Well done on the lotto win 🎉😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I think the novelty of lockdown is wearing off as several people seem to be feeling a bit wobbly at the moment. I think if you start doing your walks and stretches again it will help your mood and help you to sleep. There's something very lowering to the mood in seeing the same four walls all the time.
Very good news about your company doing well despite the lockdown. It's good to know that it's not a disaster for all businesses.

Good news about the redundancy or should I say lack of.....
There has certainly been something in the air with lots of folk feeling down...the novelty of being at home has worn off, the sun has gone in and the news has been depressing for what seems forever. But we’re made of strong stuff and there’s signs of things going back to a more normal life in other countries now...our time will come 🤞😀

Brilliant about the lottery win. My friend who is now working from home full time says she's so tired by the end of the day. The virtual meetings she finds really exhausting.
