    I ordered the book on kindle when you first mentioned it.  We don't need to follow it now as we moved to a smaller house and are more organised but that book really helped us to get on top of the house we sold.  Another book I would recommend is Kon Marie as it really helps you to declutter (if needed) and then you can sort out the cleaning.

    Glad you found the book helpful @moving_forward. I like the Kon Marie method of folding and putting things away and use these now. I didn't really get on with the method of chucking everything in the middle of the room though, like clothes. I've found it easier to go through things cupboard by cupboard or drawer by drawer taking a note of what's left so I don't duplicate. I also found her a bit airy- fairy what with thanking each thing before getting rid of them. Not my style at all!🤣. She is sweet though and I did enjoy her series on Netflix - I'm a sucker for these sort of programmes!

    I just went to order the book on amazon and found that I had already downloaded onto kindle. I have obviously forgotten about it as haven’t read it yet. But I think I will have a read tonight and start it tomorrow!! Thank you for mentioning it and well done on the bonus and your charity donations 💕💕

    If anyone has Azn Prime they should note that the cleaning bible is free to read, sadly it doesn't do the work for you.  I have read it...
    @mumoffourkids - perhaps get a couple of the older children to help out - the younger ones could maybe have a good sort out of their toys?

    @redofromstart - 🤣🤣🤣🤣- wouldn't that be lovely!

    I bought that book 3 years ago, started off with it then broke my ankle 3 and forgot about it.  I came across it again towards the end of last year then broke my leg - any excuse 🤣 Daren't tempt fate by getting it out again.  To be honest I'm pretty good at cleaning and decluttering anyway.

    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    @Sun_Addict - perhaps leave the book hidden in the circumstances!🤣.  I agree with you about your own cleaning, etc. You always seem to have a good routine and everything is always shipshape. Your food planning and cooking routines are great as well.

    No I didn't exactly follow the method of going round throwing everything in a pile and declaring your undying love item by item but the folding and principles of only buy what you really like (her saying of what brings joy) really works.  I think its the american market they like to give the airy-fairyness for!  Her netflix series was fab I really enjoyed that.

    I know! You think it would come with a robot cleaning maid but hey ho!!

    The thanking of things principle may also be down to the fact she is Japanese. I think their Shinto religion believes there is is life in every object so it may be something that makes complete sense to the Japanese.

    I'm waiting with anticipation to see if she has a series 2 coming on Netflix!

    Hope you’re having a good weekend SSG

    great news re the bonus and yes another endorsement for oat milk. It’s the most sustainable for us in the UK and Oatly is a great brand. We get it from our milkman :) They also do a barista version which leads to a very nice frothy coffee if you’re so inclined :D
