Well hello all - (she waves sheepishly) - the months have flown by and it’s been two whole seasons since I last posted! I’ve been up to a few things since February – seen a few shows/plays/exhibitions, visited DD a few times, had a wonderful day at Ascot races and some days out with family.

The main thing though was (drumroll)…………

MY EMERGENCY FUND OF £10,000 WAS FINISHED AT THE END OF APRIL AND I HAVEN’T DIPPED INTO IT AT ALL!!!!!!
    :j!!:j:j

However, my next goal of saving up for a new kitchen hasn’t exactly got off the ground yet! I’ve recently hired a personal trainer to give me a rocket up the backside on my training and diet - which has reduced the amount I can save, but I feel a lot better since I’ve started training with him and lost a stone in six weeks!I also find that because I’ve something booked with him I drag myself up to the gym after work – left to my own devices I would spend the evening on the couch – potato like!

I’ve not had a proper holiday yet but have got something booked up for the end of the month. I can’t wait! – it’s not going to be actually relaxing but I’m doing something that’s been on my bucket list for a while so I’m really looking forward to it.

Anyway I’ve posted this at work so will have to sign off briefly but it’s good to be back and I’m looking forward to catching up with other diaries to see what’s been happening while I’ve been away.

    SSG x
