Sorry to hear your friend is not up to visitors , great idea of INOD to write to her. There are lots of people walking about here , children on bikes etc. It's lovely to see the sun , even if it shows up all the dust !
Sounds like you have the dieting nailed and the 5.2 obviously suits you. The glory hole/cupboard of doom will be there next weekend.

Thanks Cumbria. Hoping for another positive weekly weigh-in tomorrow.
The film was very good - sweet, but rather sad and thought-provoking.
END OF SCRIMPY WEEK 3 -FEBRUARY
I've ended up spending £38.49 this week on Ad Hoc spends which has left £51.52.. But I've decided to put this into the Entertainments pot to help bring down the debit due to my theatre ticket purchase. So nothing to wing over to Savings this week.
Work tomorrow. The weekend goes so fast. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hi redo – I did send her a get-well soon card after her operation last week, but I've been thinking that perhaps rather than a letter, I could send her a nice card every week while she is in hospital and until she feels up to seeing people as I will be getting regular updates on how she is.
SCRIMPY WEEK 4 – FEBRUARY
Start of the final week before payday! I've £90 this week in Ad Hoc spends. Today I've spent £5.10 for the weekly coffees, but nothing else on the agenda today spendwise.
It'll be a quiet week as well – I've got my pedicure on Saturday and will be looking to get some cinema tickets for Sunday. We're looking at "Fisherman's Friends" if it's showing this week as we fancy something feelgood and humorous!
Nothing else much to report – hopefully there might be some PPI correspondence waiting for me when I get home tonight!

You're doing really well on the weight loss! Well done :T. Your cleaning and organising schedule is putting me to shame too
.
I'm glad your friend has had a successful operation, but I can understand why she feels low. Being ill and unable to do your normal activities can be very depressing. I felt low when I had appendicitus and I knew that I would get completely better soon. I'm sure a weekly card will be very much appreciated until she's ready for visitors. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thank you both.
I think it's the whole thing of the voice box that's bothering her most at the moment Hairy.:(. We're all hoping she'll feel more positive about it as the weeks go on. I'm going to buy some cards tomorrow.
Today I bought a summery hoodie and a unicorn pencil (with a lilac mane!) forDSis and OH's great-niece's birthday. From the Gifts pot.
I bought Sunday's Odeon tickets too. The film we wanted to see hasn't arrived yet so we're off to watch 'On the Basis of Sex' - which isn't a !!!!!! film by the way!:D. These came to £10.25 which should come from the Entertainments pot but will have to be funded from Ad Hoc spends this time round.
Nothing else to report today. Have a good evening all! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I looked up the title of your film , it looks very good and can understand why it is called what it is. Your weight loss is amazing SSG , your willpower and determination are to be commended.
I thought the pencil was for you at first , discovering your inner child:rotfl:, then realised it was a present.

We saw the trailer for the film on Sunday Cumbria - it looks really good and is also based on a true story.
