No snow here at the moment inod - been bitterly cold but bright. Temperature is up today, cloudy and some rain later. Your buggy ride sounded great. Did do a buggy ride, but years ago in the summer. Bet it wasnt as good as yours!
New York is brilliant and Christmassy as always! Hotel that DD picked is lovely - right near the Empire State. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner on the night of our arrival
Yesterday we were at the 9/11 museum. As I wrote before we have visited before but had to rush round it. We took our time yesterday - it's as sad as ever and makes you thankful for our own families and friends. But a wonderful monument to those that were murdered and died helping and the others that gave their all fighting to aid on that day.
Had lunch and as it was too late to go to the Museum of Modern Art, we then went up 5th Avenue which was rammed with the Black Friday shoppers. DD had some retail therapy though!
When we got back DD's knee had started playing up. She hurt it climbing some time ago, but it's been ok since then. She had gone to the hotel gym that morning and though at the time nothing happened to set her knee off she said it must have been aggravated it on the leg press. We ended up not going out in the evening and I went out to source pain killers!
She's a lot better this morning and I'm just waiting for her to return with the coffees fron her favourite coffee shop and then we're off to the Museum of Modern Art and more shopping this afternoon!
