So today was a NSD to start off my cost cutting month as I didn't actually go out.
I usually spend November following Katie Berry's book "31 Days to a Clean and Organized House" so that everything is spic and span and ready to put up the Xmas decorations. However because the kitchen renovation is going on and dust is everywhere, on I've just decided to clean and clear out cupboards and drawers until the work is finished. So today I went through the bathroom wall cabinet and the cupboard under the bathroom sink. They weren't too bad - wiped down the shelves and threw out a couple of bits, but in the main nothing much to do
Have been re-watching all the previous series of "House of Cards" so that I'm up to date ready to to watch the final series. It's so good - I've been glued to the TV!Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hi Cumbria - we went up to the top of the Trade Cenre last time we were in NY. The view is wonderful and it's a beautiful building. In a way I wish we had gone up there after visiting the 9/11 museum and not the other way around as the museum is very sad and you feel quite emotional after visiting, whilst the Trade Centre is such a positive monument.
Kitchen is going well - slow but sure! Electricals and plumbing all in place now and ready to start on the cabinets on Monday. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks for that inod. Never heard of this Christmas market before and it looks fairly close to where we're staying. Must try and fit it in.
Today I spent £7.91 in Aldi - all things I needed. The sun came out today after last night's torrential rain and I had a lovely autumnal walk through the park to get to the store.
When I got back I did some laundry, ironing and went through my scarves drawer. Picked out half a dozen that I've not worn for ages and can go the the charity shop.
Ive bought a couple of Christmas presents but I must get down to properly sorting out my list this week too.
Back to work tomorrow. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I read your post on your diary! The mattress topper sounds lush!
Today as I was walking to the station I saw one magpie! When I got to said station I found I left my season ticket at home so had to pay £26 for a day return! I also found the season ticket at the bottom of my bag when I got to work, but realised I had forgotten my lunch! That definitely wasn't at the bottom of my bag so I had to buy some soup and a roll in Pret.
First day back at work wasn't too bad but had to stock up on toiletries in Boots at lunchtime. Because I seemed to have run down on most things I busted my toiletries budget but luckily raided the make- up budget to cover it!
When I got home I found that my kitchen fitter had removed the old oven and sink unit plus Howdens had delivered some bits so I couldn't use the kitchen and there was no room to use the microwave (he very kindly put a big bottle of water in the fridge though for drinking!). So I had to get a takeaway. Just as I left home the heavens opened and what seemed like a monsoon thoroughly soaked me!:(
So my low cost day went out of the window - bright thing is that I can claim back what I spent on the rail ticket and I'll take the lunch languishing in the fridge to work tomorrow. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
