Maybe i spoke too soon, work is making me sooooo miserable at the moment :(, just seems like a never-ending circle.

On a more positive note, i've had low spends today and have quite a few watchers on my ebay items :D.

Just written a long reply and my pc crashed on me .

Not gonna babble along so i'll get to the point.....

I've decided today that i'm going to downgrade at work, it hasn't been a easy decision but i've realised that my personal happiness must come first and the hassles and stress sooooooo isn't worth it.

I'll be losing approximately £100 per month, i'm sure i could cut back on a few things and easily replace that with the money which i'm at times "wasting". This is ony temporary and i shall be applying for lots of jobs hopefully then i'll leave within a short few months *fingers crossed*.

I've done well this week, having kept track of my spending and haven't spent as much as usual.

Took advantage of the half price listing day on ebay yesterday and have listed almost twenty items.

Also have almost £30 in my pig :T, not bad for daily change which as been just over a week.

Going away for the weekend with my bf in a few weeks time, so need to put some money aside for that. Hopefully the money i make from ebay and the money from those unnecessary spends should cover that.

The job situation is much better than before, but still don't want to remain within the company. Filled in an application for a job which i really want, posting it tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

Posted a thread about budgetting earlier, interesting to see what other members spend per week.

From now on i'm going to withdraw £50 from the cashpoint every Monday and make it last me the whole week. I really need to quit the cigarettes as this is taking a huge amount out of my money and also all the "snacky" products which will be replaced with things from home instead.

Wish me luck, think i'm gonna need it .

From my weekly budget, today i have spent £5.22, this includes travel so quite chuffed with myself :D. Haven't smoked today either, put a low dosage patch on, although i felt sick and dizzy so had to take it off.

Fingers crossed i'll be able to stick to it.

Hi there. I've been quietly lurking babes and seeing how you are getting on.

I just wanted to say good luck with other job applications (from one unhappy worker to another!) and for what it is worth, I think the downgrading thing was the right move if you were really unhappy. Especially if you can cut back and save the money anyway. Kind of a win win situation and it will cut you some slack whilst you look elsewhere.

    Good onward luck!

Thank you LA, seems as if you understand my situation :). Work is now a lot better, although i'm still not entirely happy there and can't wait to move on. I sent my application off and the closing date is 22nd October, so i guess i'll find out soon after that whether i get an interview or not, i hope so :D.

Hope everything goes well with your work situation too x
