Good luck with the giving up smoking I know how hard it is.
My hubby struggled giving up, the only thing that worked for him were the patches. I know they are expensive but a darn site cheaper than a packet of fags a day, so may be worth a try.
Good luck with the new job too with that and quitting smoking you will be able to make huge dents in your debts in 2008

Thanks for the reply ISOM, i do really need to quit, the main reason is my health and the expense it's costing, it's ridiculous. Think this will be the kick up the bum in which i need
.
Hopefully my interview will go okay, i know there's a chance i may not get it although i'm going to go in there, try my best and whatever will be, will be.0 -

I already tried the patches but they made me feel dizzy and nauseous
. Shall see how i get along and f that fails shall make an appointment with my doctor.
I know it's going to be hard, but i'm determined to do it this time around.0 -
So my plans for 2008 are:
* To try to find a new job
* To not waste money on those unneccessary buys
* To ebay, ebay and ebay
* Quit the cigarettes
* Take my lunch to work everyday
* Cut out those fizzy drinks and start drinking more water
Think that's it for now, although those above would make a hige difference as would save me at least a couple of hundred pounds per month.0 -
I tried atches & they made me sick but then managed to get the lozenges from my GP - great as they're free in Wales cos we dont pay script costs. Does help with the cravings and I gradually cut down...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
