I'm allowed to go Monday 2nd September I'll be paid until 6th September and I've got some short weeks as I've for leave in between perfect I'll have lots of time off.

Ceo was ok about it a bit surprised I wanted to leave so soon she off last week in Aug that's bloody 5 weeks she's had off July and Aug. Anyway handover on the 2nd I'll live.

Weekend away was amazing saw the house again not seen it since we first viewed in June still love it and it's even better than I remember. The owners were lovely and had two sweet puppies.

We've been offered to by some furniture and we can have a couple of beds which is good. Don't know how much to pay as it's second hand and I've not really looked at it that closely. Don't think it's that expensive.

Picked up my new car it's ace and very high spec lots of fun features with Apple Car play etc. Hotel a bit of a faded jewel that once was, they gave us an unmade room but gave us 4 free drinks and we forgot to pay for the crappy sandwiches we had. Cheap with all the freebies but wouldn't go again.

Playing golf today which was nice and lovely weather start d raining as we drove back. Tired early nigth needed.

Down South again Friday got all my stuff out of house and it just fitted into storage. Then went and tried to get my sewing machine repaired but it couldn't be so bought a new one £550 it's ace and I do love sewing plus it saves money on taking gds trousers up.

Had lunch with flatmate and mutual friend which was lovely the. Dg came down late Friday. Saturday brunch with uncle and cousins plus partner then golf which was fab. Found out flat mates dog had been run over and killed so sad only saw it Friday when I stayed there. So so sad they were walking it so no idea how it happened.

Last night a few drinks lot more for dg and then bbq at old work colleagues place and there will be people from when I worked there so should be great fun. We're getting a bus door to door taxi home. Tomorrow breakfast with aunt then moving stuff into storage from flat only one box then golf and home. My new car is lovely really like it and sorted insurance, permit etc all out.

Not been good food wise need to get back into running next week. Have to work Tuesday as they calculated my leave wrong but then it's only 5 days work left which is great. Crap I forgot my counselling that's Tues so will have to go in but don't have to actually go to work and not travelling at rush hour will help.

Not booked trip to see mum need to do this but not sure how I fit everything in. So lovely down here can't wait to live here a bit more. Hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather.

Been a nice trip came back last night new car lovely to drive. BBQ great nice to see the old crew again also played two rounds of golf making the mot of our membership.

Gas been serviced at old house as we speak and having gas work done here at crappy flat. Asda has been so all done still need to go in for my counselling at 4 pm pain when working from home but feel I should do it.

Still not sorted out visiting mum hard to fit trip to cornwall in as well might need to swap dates but friend quite busy and had settled the days I'm down. Maybe notsee my mum but feels wrong too. Decisions decisions.

Thanks Tahlullah yes I cannot wait now. Not quite done everything I set out to do but not far off. Handover with CEO is tomorrow I'm dreading it but has to be done. Need to handover with colleague which shouldn't take long but needs to be done. Then drinks at a local pub which I look forward too loads of people coming. Tuesday counselling and meeting a client and her friend she's quite special and I'm in the area anyway. Need to pick up my office chair at some point as it's mine and I'll need it for home office. 4 days in Cornwall with friend and dentist booked. Won't have time to see my mum and she's also got loads on shame but I'll be home for Christmas.

Played golf today two better than my hcp but not sure if I get in the prizes. Nice though and good for weekend away with the club which starts this Friday.

So look forward to my break but loads of studying needed seriously as I've got 4 modules paid for exams in Jan but I will definitely get two done. That's the plan might need to post on here to hold myself accountable.

And breathe last day done although I'm popping in today to return work phone and pick up some bits. CEO handover better than expected and she said some really nice things. She did get rather drunk at leaving do so said even more stuff. I also let slip we are having a team only do on the 13th she asked if she was invited I said no. She didn't like that but do I care nope I don't. Nice so many came and it was a good night a bit hungover today. Sorted some DDs out that won't be paid now house is sold and also got my pension statement from finally I've registered for online so hopefully can be transferred to my SIPP now I'm not paying into it anymore. Like to have all my pensions in one.

Got confirmation ex dh did have PPI letter is hard to read but I think it's £184 since 2012 so nice interest I'm guessing. Still don't quite know how to read it and got txt to say I'm getting form to fill in in the post but can't be that. Not counting my chickens obviously.

Going to meet a client today and her friend don't usually do this but she's special they both are. Then I've got counselling so will pop into work beforehand. I think that's it.

So to try and hold myself accountable I'm going to post each day I'm at home what things I would like to accomplice. This is day one and the flat is really dirty so need to do that too sadly.

1. Clean flat
2. Pack for golf weekend and clean clubs and shoes
3. Sort desk out
4. Study legal research
5. Study client care
6. Look at boxes in office and move to other cupboard
7. Get milk

I think that will do for now let's see how I get on. Nice day yesterday met with excellent and her friend lovely people and I lots of gifts. Also saw people at work briefly it was fine
