Thanks everyone much appreciated so glad it's weekend one more week left at work before I get two weeks off. Madly busy and will be next week too. This weekend it's shopping today last minute stuff for the cruise dg can't fit into all her clothes so needs a bit more. She's horrible to shop clothes with as she needs to loose weight but I'll live. Also going to collect the Pink VIP tickets for Saturday will be amazing but bitter sweet for dg as it was her mums Xmas present but she obviously never got to go. I'm looking forward to it we're missing a day on the cruise for this but I'm sure it will be great.

Sunday fun golf day DG cancelled she's still all over with golf so I'll have a nice peaceful time. Quite look forward to that.

That's it really still in bed dg sleeping as had a leaving do with her old works place and I think she got some closure which was good.

Long time since I posted had a fantastic time at Pink really brilliant and VIP excellent. Took ages to get home so only had two hours sleep before heading off to Germany. Travels were fine and we arrived without a hitch just very hot as very old train.

Cruise was brilliant lovely time with all the family and saw lots of lovely places. Food drink awesome and all free but tiring too so didn't stay over in Copenhagen but came back to mums instead it's dg. Nice weekend here then she was off Sunday night and I went to visit a friend yesterday and saw my dad.

Mums house has sold so she can now look found one that looks really good going to see it inside this morning. Very overpriced but it might be what she wants so could be the right one. Prices here are really low so when I say very over priced it's £240000 but about £30000 too much. Nice to chill out and see my mum good to be able to help with the house selection etc. They have a similar thing to Rightmove but it's the Scottish system so you have the survey up front.

My move isn't doing much all is on track nothing from my solicitor about the queries from Friday so have chased the estate agent for my purchase asking what is happening with the onward purchase for them. Once I hear I'll chase my solicitor still not had the contract either.

Survey was down yesterday and searches are being done so I've committed quite a bit. Hope they find something I know it's only been two weeks but handy to know. Could be a long chain ahead.

Spendingwise cheap week away as all inclusive but spent a bit already however got money over here just need to sort out my pin didn't work yesterday.

Just a quick pop in while I wait for my flight back home. Had a great time at my mums helping her find a property what a saga. My survey is back he spent 19min at the property and said it’s £5k overpriced. Need to reply to him again as he’s not responded to my first query. Also got 15 questions from my buyer need to do that when I get home
So sad to say goodbye to my childhood home and my mum still feel tearful but just spoken to her and she’s off to spend a week with my sister on a cottage. She can take her mind off her purchase her sale will be exchanged on Thursday so that will help too. I better go to gate had a great time but dreading work.

Questions for buyer done he wants to exchange ASAP and complete 3rd Sep which would be fine for me I can clear out the place and put things in storage for a month before ours is ready. My sellers have done their forms they want too much for their electrical stuff but I'll buy the big curtains in lounge dinning room the rest they are leaving for free which is nice.

Surveyor has answered more questions and he offered to speak he actually called me but I missed the call. I tried him as agreed tonight but he's out of signal so will try tomorrow. Still not sure what to do about the price being lower basically the surveyor says the pool doesn't add value which I agree it's but ......

Work ok busy busy but managing dropping a few balls but can't be helped. Loving that CEO is away it's the best thing ever honestly!

Dg is getting on better with her job which is a relief and I'm back with my counselling through work which is great I really need it. New counsellor seems nice but first session Monday so can't say yet,

Spending has been rubbish as not prepped lunches so spent a bit on that but back on track tomorrow hopefully. ASDA delivery tonight so fridge a bit fuller now at least.

Went for a run this morning could only Manager 23 min but it was a start will try again tomorrow.

Next week will have two late meetings so might just have to take some time in lieu which I have certainly earned by then. Think that covers it won't have a late night tonight that's for sure.

Gosh it's hot working from home as I had a late meeting yesterday that finished at 10pm. Really nit done much but ceo is back tomorrow to need to sound like I'm on top of things.

Looks like my sale is going to go though and complete 5/9 which is fab then I'm chain free at least. Not got everything back from searches as estate agent very quiet so leaving it all for now he might be on holiday. I know by sellers have found a place and offer is accepted.

Could really do with that pool now sadly stuck on the fifth floor with no lift and crap internet instead. I've been looking on Rightmove and nothing takes my fancy at all. The area I really wanted is over my budget even for an unmodernised property and then I couldn't upgrade due to no funds.

Ive seen a job I quite fancy and spoken to them. Strangely it's office based in two places but most of the team is in Leeds so not sure how being in an office in London would really work. I'm going to apply good experience if I get an interview never got one yet with that organisation.

Really need to crack on with work.

Leeds is easy to get to by train. Direct train from London in 2 hours. Wouldn't let that put you off. Lots of skype meetings.

Thanks Tahlulah that is a good point it was just all a bit odd set up and workload divided but it’s doable. I can even fly to Leeds from the South Coast although charities don’t seem to pay for that type of travel.

Didn’t get much work done almost a duvet day but on my way to work super early so hours before meeting with CEO at 11. Not seen her for 6 weeks and it’s been bliss honestly.

Taxi from Leeds Bradford airport to the centre of Leeds isn't cheap. That or the bus, which is slow and rambling. The train will get you within 15 minutes walking distance of the office in the city centre.

I think most charities nowadays pay for the cheapest mode of transport to where you need to be. I think it is the less progressive ones that don't allow trains, planes and automobiles.

I had to travel to Manchester last week for a half day meeting and it would cost £300 by train for me to get there at a reasonable time. Needless to say I didn't go and skyped in. Something wrong with the transport system in the UK.
