1 hour wait not great as you say but go and get a coffee!!

Glad the interview went well for you. And did the presentation go well?

Did they say how long it would be before they let you know? Still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Presentation went ok loads of questions afterwards which I think I answered ok but some of them I might not have bigged up my project management experience but heyho too late now. They said by end of week and who knows they might see someone else later in the week.

Sometimes, the questions won't allow for a candidate to discuss the areas they want to, because as you know, the questions are pre-set for all candidates and they are looking for specifics that may not be obvious. I know that when I was doing behaviour based interviews, I struggled to get my head around what they wanted and the questions did not reflect the job I was going for.

Either way, the interview itself was good practice for the future and you can ask for feedback. You never know, you may be successful and what great news that will be!

Congratulations are given to you for getting an interview in the first place. Not easy to do with this organisation!!

Thank you Tallullah much appreciated and a much needed boost you writing that. yes it was good practise in particular the application form as it has a 200 word limit I struggled with so I get through that at least. I know I need time off and not to be too hasty with my next job I rushed it before with my last one where i was let go at probation.

It’s two years since I started this job been good but definitely time to go. If funding is looking positive I’ll run my cases down and hopefully leave soon. My contract has been extended to 27/9 but I really don’t want to stay.

Anyway onwards and upwards I’ll up date if I get that amazing call.

After having convinced myself I wasn't going to get it she called at lunchtime and offered it to me, 90% of salary until I pass probation it's an 18 month contract which is so cool. Very happy TG I've already accepted and start 30th September so hopefully have a month off before I start, really really need it. Told one colleague that's it got a team meeting tomorrow so I can tell the rest, they know I'm leaving so it's just the fact I'm going a month early if the CEO lets me. My contract had run out yesterday so I'm not on my extension until 27/9 but I don't want it obviously. Have a small bit of leave left. Hope CEO is ok about it tomorrow she's tricky as you all know.

I can work a bit from home otherwise London HQ which is a pain to get to from here but can't be worked than my current journey. Won't be in the office every day though and will be travelling around and also in Leeds office.

    Very happy TG :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Chinese takeaway tonight no booze though

That is absolutely great news TG. I am so pleased for you. New job and at Regional office!! Couldn't get better than this!

Enjoy your celebrations and forget about whether the CEO is happy or not. This is your life and your time. Don't let anyone take it from you!

    Tx

Thank you yes it is good I just need CEO to let me go end of Aug so I have a month off. I don't know how my team will react but they've known I'm leaving so isn't going to be a chock.
