I did get a few hours done so that was good but going out Friday so today and Thursday last chance really.
Great to see colleague and others at work even got a big hug from a client. Did my counselling all good and now finishes don't need anymore but learnt a lot about myself which was good.
Today I've got ASDA delivery in an hour and then need to cook a sausage casserole in slow cooker so freeze etc for lunch and dinners.
Would like to watch a programme on telly but mindful of getting the study done too running out of time and it's not easy unfortunately.
So today's list looks like this

Hope you had a successful study day.0

Thanks VandaFC I appreciate you keeping tabs on me. I did get quite a bit done yesterday and made the casserole after the ASDA delivery there is enough for a second batch but our freezer is pretty full so not sure what to do really.
Dg came home at 11pm last night she had been to a leaving do. I'm so glad she went it's good for her to get out and get to know people from work but she's so rough this morning.
I really need to look at where my money is and work out how much to pay myself this month as I don't get paid until the 23rd next month now. Also need to chase the solicitor as no news at all since Monday regarding exchange and completion. Bloody annoying but they could be on holiday the vendors.
So plan today
Study hopefully complete task 3 and 4 we shall see there are 5 in total.
Make sausage casserole
Sainsbury buy half price graze boxes they have my two favourites and I think it might stop me from snacking on crap

Done the budget and this is what it looks like
Purchase price still to pay
Solicitors fees
Stamp duty
Total to pay
Savings towards house
Current Account
Premium bonds
Total available £365,000.00
Contingency £6325.00
Savings for house renovation
Premium bonds £50,000.00
General savings
First Direct
Nationwide
Ad hoc savings
Makes we feel a bit better I have still got £50K for renovations and £12K saved plus a contingency of £6k which I will know for sure once house purchase has gone through. That includes giving myself £1500 to live in until I get paid 23/10 which wont be a full month but lets hope its enough. Would rather not touch my savings but might need to.
Sausage casserole done now for study then shops then lunch that gives me 3 hours study.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Your budget looks good. Glad you still have a contingency fund as well as other savings. When do you start your new job ? You know you can get by on what you have allocated yourself, you just need to be disciplined which you know you can do if you have to.0

Yes I can be good on a budget but with new work I'll be travelling and I don't think expenses are that generous so will need to be careful with food and snacks.
Just bought 25 Graze snacks they had my two favourites at 60p we will share the lemon drizzle and I'll take the others to travel with me.
Eaten lunch and spoken to estate agent and dg. The vendors can't move out end of Oct and Nov is out too due to his working from home. So now exchange is 29th Nov which is just ages but their flat now has a chain and it's all a bit of a long story. Anyway hopefully we can exchange now and then move that weekend. I want to take the Monday off as we won't be able to get in first thing Friday so may as well wait and travel down after work.
Discovered there are only 4 tasks so working on 4 now. Getting there on the study font! Start work Tuesday but travelling up Monday afternoon to Leeds. Meeting an ex colleague from my team tomorrow we are going to Tate Modern. Look forward to it.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Great news on the studying front, but what a pain about the house. Lets hope you do get to exchange asap.0

No exchange yet did email my solicitor but I'm guessing it's the other solicitor thats holding things up.
Got all 4 tasks done with a bit of luck I can get up early tomorrow go for run then a bath before heading out. I need to proof read it and double check it but I think it can then be sent off. Only really worried about 2 as that can't have spelling mistakes in it or grammatical errors. Had planned to submit both but haven't had the mock back for client care so if I can get Legal Research in that will be a major plus as the other one isn't bad and deadline is ages still. I so want to do those two hate myself for wasting two modules even after I got the extension. So silly but then I didn't know DGs mum would die or ceo would become such a pain.
Looking at my budget until the 23rd October I've allocated myself £1400 which is exactly what my dd's are so need to rethink things or just be really strict this month. I don't need anything and I can put in expenses for my travel to the interview and my tickets on Tuesday so if they get paid that I'll help. Also may win on the premium bonds last time before they are cashed in.
I think I'm going to keep my ad hoc savings out of the house stuff and just work with £50k for renovations and then I can use the contingency fund for furniture. Dg will pay half of furniture so that's all good.
So annoying it's going to be another two months as I'm paying for two storage units which is annoying. Still we will get there eventually.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG. Have been away but good to see that everything is on track for the big move, in the job and in your work.
Keep doing what you are doing, as it is going so well. However, do stop occasionally to smell the roses!
I will keep popping in to see that all is going great in TG's world. I am certain that if you start a new diary, i will find it.
Enjoy and good luck. See you on the other side...What I do not give, you must never take by force.
