Thanks for popping in desk assessment finally yesterday turns out some have sliding seat pad so that’s good. Still too short but more comfortable. I need to give them picture and measurements of my old chair.

Bored today so decamped to coffee shop and naughty bought pastry but I got two stamps. Went for a run yesterday can now do 25 min which is cool.

Booked the removal of furniture from lock up 7/12 cost £113 so just hope it all works out. Can’t wait to have it all in one place. Going down next week to measure up for hot tub can’t remember if I wrote we put deposit down on an exdisplay one. We save £2k so exactly what I had set aside from my inheritance. Should fit around the side I’ll make it into a garden and extend hardstand to make proper patio but ok at the moment.

Still going to Leeds every Mon and Tues but hopefully manager will agree to working one day a week from home v soon. DG will ask soon as well.

Arranged to meet with someone from previous work should be nice and also coffee lunch with someone I met three jobs ago who now works for my dream job place. I don’t think that will ever happen but where I am now there is lots of opportunity and good prospect for working g from home so not all bad. Got urgent team call later think one of the Leeds lot might be going on adoption leave. They are recruiting today for maternity cover wonder if they will be London based too.

Hi TG, I'm just popping in to say hi :)

Congratulations on exchanging and your up coming completion date!

I haven't read every page :o so sorry if I missed it but what are you currently studying? It sounds like Cilex to me :) I failed 3 out of five on my mock client care so you are ahead of me.

Hope you have a good day!

Hi Sml save I remember you from MFi3 how things going, anyway yes it's Cilex and I'm not that far but determined to complete legal research and client care before my course runs out. I should be studying now but Saturday was a wash out as I got hungover from drinking too much Cava Friday nice evn ing but suffered yesterday and did not a lot.

Dg has got all her old toys on EBay she's got more in storage but it's a good start and they are worth quite a bit. Also cleaned the flat and made a meal plan for next week. I've packed and that's about it off to Leeds again Mon and Tues saves on the food budget and my expenses have been approved which is fab.

I'm doing them one at a time as I eat my lunch as it's so easy to do via the app to photo graph the receipt and enter the details.

I going to try and see if I can work from home one day this week would be nice. We're of down South Friday for the weekend to measure up at the house and order hot tub. Should be nice. I do need to measure my chair for HSE at work so could go and do that now

Ended up spending £199 on a refurbished office chair but great investment as I’ll need one in the flat too. My old one was 2nd hand 17 years ago and still brilliant.

Train to Leeds cancelled so on the next one. No study done but dg got her eBay stuff sorted and we started on the records.

So another week gone actually too my back is even worse now but I'm back out running so that is good. Job is interesting but hard to be remote and not having anyone to shadow. I asked probably too soon if I could work from home one day a week and got a no for no real reason just said well I would like to as well but I can't and we need office cover (hello I'm the only one in London so what am I covering) anyway read the rules and you cannot formally request until 26 weeks so will have to be patient. She did say she would grant it if I asked each time say on a Thursday evening would say I could concentrate better if I worked from home next day. Not much use really but she did suggest I worked from home Weds when I got home at 7.30pm because the train got delayed on route. She is ok but it's a low to say the least.

Ordered hot tub and seen house again last weekend in !!!!ing rain. Not enough room at the left hand side of the garden needs to go on the right hand side (old drive way) as that's big enough and flat so just needs a clean which I'll order the chemicals for. Hot tub arrives on the Monday as we move n Friday night so very exciting. Will also get everything out of storage that weekend.

Ordered Virgin super fast broadband aka Martins offer excellent value and we don't need a tv package or landline so all good.

Going out to meet two friends in Oxford street tonight so popping into my favourite Scandinavian cafe to have Danish Xmas beers. They were only released yesterday so a big treat my sister always taunt me when she has her first one so look forward to beating her to it.

Funny story I just had to post. Woke up this morning with a sore head from a nice night out with friends. Also managed to try this years Danish xmas beers and get some sweets from DK. Anyway fell asleep again only to be woken up by a lot of banging. Sounded like someone was breaking down the lift or some door. Looked out the door and it was next door who had locked himself out. We were not impressed but dg just closed the door again,

Banging carried on so she had the idea she could lend him her lock picking set she bought 4 years ago and couldn't get to work so it's been in a box ever since. Managed to find it which was a miracle in itself and offered it to him. We don't know them at all but he was . Banging stopped which was a good result and a good while later he knocks on our door hands the kit back and told us it actually worked. Well we couldn't bloody believe it!,, anyway he was really happy and we have been laughing at that story all day. Dg is as you know a solicitor and used to work for the CPS. He doesn't know this at least.

This is the kit lol 20-Piece Lock Pick Set with Transparent Training Padlock and Credit Card Lock Picking Tool Kit by LockCowboy + Guide for Beginner and Pro Locksmiths https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01CHWIP32/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_KAXVDbRFMBC1C

Work again joys but should be an ok week lunch on two days with new people I've met through work.

Glad to her that work i going ok TG. I know we don't allow home working at our place until you have passed your 6 month probation, so its the same as Cit A. No worries. As long as it is going OK and you can understand what your job is, then it can only get better.

Hope you are getting to know the North Region team better and making new acquaintances.

    Enjoy the hot tub.

Wow time flies getting more into work and getting to do more which is good but still hard to motivate yourself in that office it's still horribly cold but I know more people now and I'm still going to Leeds.

Got to do a tiny bit of work this afternoon and some study dg is out with a friend. Been a busy week as flatmates wife has been staying sinceTuesday so we have been out with them and also cooked dinner for them. Went and got new microwave from Sainsbury’s in their double up offer. I swear they have put the prices up but still £25 for a digital one is good and old one rusted to bits.

Getting the keys in 13 days cannot wait now they are leaving two more wardrobes which I don't think we will need but DGs uncle might or we just give away they are fairly basic Ikea ones so can be taken apart. So many things to buy before that first weekend and not done a lot of that. Need clohrine to spruce the side up before the hot tub arrives. Might ask on the relevant diy board just need to know what I need and buy it.

I think that it is a bit pants with money and exercise but have been for a run today first one in over two weeks and need to cut down on food and clothes don't fit now. Thinking of doing bootcamp again to get back into things.
