Still hopeful of some action by the DCLG but concerned what drivel they will have swallowed from the suited lobbyists.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Shame on Theresa May, her vows appear to be just living in the clouds
I wonder, if as is said, another general election is called which is being muted, will she retain any credibility.
Mrs May needs to sort out quickly the CCJ problem.
She also needs to sort out Marcus Jones MP of the DCLG who is now becoming very boring with his "shortly" excuse..
Mrs May's government is certainly "top of the pops" when it comes to allowing scams and cowboys trying to extort money from motorists
What excuse does Mrs May have to allow Marcus Jones to continue when he is just fobbing off the voters. He also fobs off MP's around the country ?
Marcus Jones is a very poor representative for this government and the DCLG .... he also makes Mrs May look very poor herself.0 -
the article published on the 12 th september says
"The Prime Minister’s spokesman said: ‘There is an investigation now under way. We have a strong legal system and it is important that it cannot be abused. That is why the Ministry of Justice is now taking work to look into the specific issue around CCJs.’
either someone leaked the DT article to her before it was printed , or there has been an investigation going on "for some time"Save a Rachael

Maybe Mrs May will get to see how the legal system really works if she loses in the Supreme Court0 -
Some progress I guess, but how long will the "public consultation" go on for:-

I see that Michael Green (Casehub/Challenge the Fine) has been mentioned. Initially I had hopes that MG would actually achieve something, yet 2 years on, while there has been lots of publicity, nothing other than froth seems to have emerged.
Casehub needed 250 registrants to start a class action against PE, now with 103 more than required it all seems to have gone quiet. Anyone have any update on the class action? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Great, another step forward.
All we need now is for the DCLG to wake up from it's hibernation and take action0 -
