Busy bee today. Home from the paid stuff earlier than normal so kitchen wiped, DW on, bins out, loo cleaned. Phew.
I got the weather all wrong yesterday - hottest day in September? Nope, thunder and lightening in the afternoon - but I'd been so organised and hung out my washing. Grr! Arrived back, and just thought it can't get any wetter so left it out overnight. Today is bright and sunny! Do I need to rewash it? Tshirts and a towel. Flylady advice appreciated!0 -

Yesterday's storm knocked out our home hub, so we have no broadband and I can't get on with my online college work  DH tried ringing bee tea before bed but couldn't get through. I said, jokingly, that if I was awake in the middle of the night I would try again. Of course That meant that I woke up at 03:30, and I got through to India immediately. The "engineer" took ages to run checks and finally told me that our hub was not working  By then I was wide awake and didn't go back to sleep on the sofa until after 06:00; DH woke me at 06:45
So today I have only ordered the new home hub, done WMx2, hung it out and brought it in dry, done a quick tidy round, dropped off a bag of bits at the CS, been shopping to MrAl and MrT, and put all the food away. It was the first time I have gone out without my crutches, and I was absolutely exhausted. I have therefore slept all afternoonwhile DH has been out all day playing trains. Fortunately I had thrown some bits into the slow cooker so we have had an easy tea
Now DH has gone out to his signing course, so I am going to settle down with my book and DVD and see if I can get past the Reformation period in one evening.
See you tomorrow x0 -
Hope you get the hub sorted soon Iona, currently sifting through clothes and trying to cull some. Dh has hipped it to drop ds1 at a gig he has. Ds2 is working so I'm home alone with drawers of clothes I'm trying to condense. CS and clothes banks look to be doing quite well over the next few weeks.SPC~12 ot 124

Doobop I'd probably have a look and sniff and see if they needed it. Helpful lot, aren't we? Lol
I think I dozed off briefly this afternoon <oops>
Bathrooms are all clean though, or they were until I dunked the kids tonight lol. Feel like I've been busy but not sure what I've done really <rollseyes>
Tonight I'm going to sift through my papers... So I'll stop procrastinating here!Bossymoo

Doobop- I always used to rewash it but as life has got busier I just bring it in!! It always seem clean and never smelly!!!
Cleaning the outside fascias and pots took longer than I expected but looking lovely now!
I had an impromptu visit to our local b**ts as a friend had told me about some ridiculous toy offers. Not a lot left when I got there but picked up some happy land stuff reduced from £10 to £1.50 and some Lego friends sets which were a similar reduction. Anyway 6 presents bought and they were in the 3 for 2 so spent £6. Bargain!!!
Ds2 had a lovely time at school although he had me in stitches when I picked him up. He ran out saying 'I haven't been naughty and I didn't pick my nose!!' All the parents were chuckling!!! We have had a real problem with him doing it so over the summer we mentioned that he won't be able to do that at school!!! He had obviously remembered!!!
Anyway- list.......
Label ds2s uniform
Sort out ds2s room
Hoover stairs
Dust any extra furniture in dining area
Write birthday card
Ring up about party again!!!!!

Hi all
Bathroom was scrubbed this morning but I didn't get my office done, still it's not too bad in there. DS1 came home from work at 4pm and wanted to chat so that was it for my work. Then I made tea, took DS2 to footie and went to my gym class.
Another busy one tomorrow. All the bedrooms could do with a going over.
Let's hope its not too hot for sleeping tonight!0
