Morning all! It's Thursday, which now is my official flying day. I now have every Wednesday and Thursday off the paid stuff, but I have managed to fill my Wednesdays up with other stuff. I have made a promise to myself that Thursdays will not go the same way. So. Kids are dispatched at school. I'm starting the list from the top of Monday. Carrying on until 11.30. Then out on bike for half hour (dragging OH with me kicking and screaming). Lunch. HHI. Painting woodwork until school pickup. Then homework supervision. Tidy up garden for half hour. Make tea. Walk dog. Kids to bed. aaaaand relax.
If i do all that I'll be amazed.
Valli fingers crossed re treatment xxx
Dizzy very exciting!
Finally, is anyone in touch with CY on Facebook, she's not posted for a while x0 -

I've seen a few "likes" and comments on FB by CY recently. Hope she's ok
I have a bit on DS go kart thingy. And 14 watchers. One has asked for a buy it now price but I've said we'll stick with the auction. I'm not bothered how much is goes for tbh. DS doesn't want it any more and I said if he sells it he can spend the money on activities when we go to centre parcs.
Right, I'm going out - then will tackle bedroom!Bossymoo

Granny has pulled thru the op and is resting. I'm heading down her way for a family wedding on Saturday, so will pop into the hospital for a visit.
Just having a cuppa then will tackle the lists before my bestie gets here for our usual Thursday gossip.

Phew, MP3 died halfway thru (I like to listen to music while cleaning) and I dropped and smashed my fave mug but I managed to whizz through a lot in an hour. Going to have a quick shower now then grab some lunch before bestie gets here. Catch you later guys.

Hi,
Progress, spent all morning on the living room, hall and stairs. I've completed most of the list and it looks much better. Then I've done HHI, picked up some untidiness in the bedrooms and then hoovered them. Wm and dw. Kitchen floor mopped.
Just eating lunch then I'm going to set to with the painting. Bike ride postponed until later, as OH seems to be staying out of my way, in order to get out of it.
Grrrrr I've been sitting with the window open and there are three wasps in the house now. We are having a bit of a plague at the moment (along with spiders) x0 -
Forgot to say, glad your granny got through the op, Raphael x0
-
I'm with you on the spiders, BM they are so big this time of year too
Well I've got rid of the nasty old baskets, filled the holes in the walls and hung up my new artificial box balls - they look quite niceI'm going to fasten them more securely - gets quite windy here.
Of course removing all the old tat means the mucky porch railings are more in view and will need a washI'll do that after lunch.
Have also been in bedroom and it's nice and fresh in there now. Plus tested upstairs smoke alarm, will do downstairs one too in a mo. Dusted windowsill in landing and removed gibble - it's a bit of a dumping site. So that's all clear now too.Bossymoo

Afternoon all.
Didn't get back on here yesterday as when I got home I decided to go for a cool bath as I was sweating tankers never mind buckets. I stepped in the bath fine, but as I went to sit down the mat slipped and I fell jarring my back, shoulder and hip...and causing a major tidal wave which flooded the bathroom  Apart from being achy I'm fine, and the bathroom floor has been given a good wash :rotfl: So I took it easy for the rest of the day except washing everything that got soaked.
Today is a hanging around day. I have a charity shop coming to collect donations and its any time 12-4. The boxes and bags are currently in the livingroom (spent an hour this morning taping the boxes shut and bringing them down) so Zack is sulking as he's unable to get on one sofa or in his favourite spot by the TV. Meanwhile one wash load has been done and hung out, another hasn't long finished so I'll hang that out now and I'm trying to get all the tech updated/charged. Latest one requires the laptop restarting so that can be done while I'm hanging out washing. I was planning to work but I am so sleepy its not going to happen.
When the collection has finally happened I need to have another shower and get sorted to go to school tonight. Another event sat in a crowded hot hall for 2 hours on those horrible plastic school chairs for DD to do something for 2 minutes tops. I'll be taking some painkillers before I go! At least ex will give us a lift home
Right, off to reboot the laptop and hang this washing out. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Good news about your granny, Raphael. Tell her that all the Flyladies are thinking of her
Prayers and posi vibes continue for your sister, Valli, and coping vibes for you x
Roll out the red carpet for the builders, Dizzy - and good luck with your job application. Hope Tiny gets on well at the new nursery.
CY has liked something on FB this morning. I was hoping to see her when we were up her way last week but she had a hospital appointment on the day when we were in her area. Now planning a visit in October.
This morning I have tidied the study and done some paperwork. The kitchen fitter is coming this afternoon to remove the broken FF from its housing so that the people delivering the new one will take the old one away. Unfortunately he won't be able to come back for a couple of weeks to fit the new one, but we have managed like this for a month and I'm sure we can continue to cope!
More studying this afternoon. Thanks Mrs MP: I will sit on the sofa with my foot up0
